Howard Johnson by Wyndham Albany

I stay there every time I travel for work

The room was clean and the staff was friendly

The cheapest mattress I've ever slept on. The edge was stiff then when you got into the bed it was hard and made a crunching sound. I thought for sure I would have a pressure sore by morning. Could use updating and repair (broken sheetrock).

Stayed here for one night and the experience was really terrible. Room smells very bad, very cheap maintenance, it looks ugly everywhere. Not worthy for the price at all.

Clean room quiet good price

Clean, quiet, and fast check in

It feels like below human dignity to stay there

One of my favourite place to say! Customer was fantastic

The rooms could use a update for sure . But for the price it was ok

Breakfast was a joke. Raisin Bran or Frosted Flakes or bread Bed was lumpy, non smoking room smelled like cigarettes had to change rooms, hair dryer was broken. Was ok for one night served its purpose. Was weird when entering their parking lot to check in a woman was recording me??

Well equipped room, convenient location for an overnight. Nicely kept garden.

Everything was fine. Perhaps the place could use some remodeling to make it more attractive and enjoyable, but it was clean, and that’s the most important thing.

Good amount of parking, good staff. Rooms could be cleaner a lot cleaner pictures don’t show the state it’s in now.

Nice room. Great staff. TV remote didn't work.

Staff

Location Needs to be updated. electrical poor. furniture coming apart. Asked for more towels, soap and washcloths for a 2 night stay and was told that they were unavailable for the rest of the day. Seemed like most of the guests there, complained about the service

Very nice. Handy parking. Had all of the amenities. Bathroom floor could be a little cleaner.

Clean, well lit, everything worked, but 1 of my 3 days my room was not serviced: bed not made, towels not replenished, paper cans not emptied, room not vacuumed. For an unknown reason to me, the room was "skipped." Along baseboard the carpet is dirty. Perhaps an attachment to the cleaner is needed to clean carpet at that edge. Overall, facility was just fine, especially for the reasonable price.

Barely clean, no hairdryer, no tissues, dirty tub, smelled funky, very old and chipped sink and faucet, would not stay there again. On the bright side - there was an iron! 😝

Outdoor swimming pool.Only motel/hotel in area that has one:-)
