Booked a room the night before my stay on a very busy weekend for Albuquerque- huge balloon festival, so all the motels/hotels charged premium prices. I paid $130 for a room in Luxury Inn - at the motel in conversation, the office lady noted that they are fully booked. She gave me room 117. My sister and brother-in-law got room 207. My room had brown paint blotches on all the walls, a burnt plastic grill on the window air conditioning unit, a ripped backboard to one of the double beds and a knife-sliced backboard to the second bed, a hole plugged with toilet paper in the ceiling of the tub/shower, no microwave, a scratch across the TV screen that got about 3 channels. I complained to the lady at the office because my sister/bro-in-law’s room was fine - only mine was a dump. I was wondering if she over-booked and gave me a room that was in the process of being worked on and not normally given to paying customers… she got very defensive and said no, they never over-book. I asked, “so you normally give out room 117!?” She hesitated, then reluctantly said, yes. I have a video of the room as proof of what I have stated here. Again, my sister and brother-in-law-in-law’s room was decent, but maybe after they read this, they will stop assigning that room 117 dump. No more rooms and it was late - I spent the night there…quiet. That’s the only positive. But note also: That neighborhood is full of homeless so if that makes you uncomfortable (especially if you have kids

This was a decent room when traveling to the Balloon Festival. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels were old and there was a lot of road noise. A good stay for one night.

No staff available to check us in. Area was crowded with apparent drug use, a lot of homeless wondering on property. Wouldn't recommend this location or area to anyone.

Place was filthy and run down, very scary area, no staff to speak of... looked more like a crack house than a hotel, non-working fixtures broken bathroom door...DO NOT GO HERE !!!

Television didn't work. Door latch was broken. Breakfast was a Hostess danish. Toilet ran all night. Keys stopped working and had to be reactivated. Nice location to catch the bus at the mall to the hot air balloon fiesta. Front desk people were very nice if you could find them.

Nothing fancy but the beds were super comfortable and as soon as I had an issue, they came to fix it super fast. The staff was really kind too!

The window had no lock to begin with. My partner and I left for a quick dinner and came back to the window open. He went to the front desk to let them know about the issue and they couldn’t do anything about it. So they gave us a broom stick to wedge between the window. We ended up breaking the stick to ensure no one goes through. Showers were dirty, and someone’s dirty clothes left between the board of the bed.

It was the worse place I have ever stayed…period.

Room 112 - This place was the worst I'd ever stayed. The air conditioning worked and the beds had clean sheets, but the room smelled musty. We discovered that the plumbing leaked from the ceiling every time a faucet was turned on, or the toilet was flushed, resulting in water running down the wall onto/into the light fixture over the sink, ending in a brown puddle on the sink counter. There were 3 separate water bubbles in the latex ceiling paint from leaking overhead pipes. There was a decayed hole in the ceiling above the bathtub, a decayed gap in the wall around the showerhead, leftover adhesive around the tub's perimeter where it appeared to have had vinyl baseboard glued to it at one time, and rust around the electrical switches/fixtures, indicating excessive water damage. Mysterious brown streaks on the walls, and drywall patches that hadn't been painted over. The TV was wall mounted at one time, but had recently been screwed to the dresser by the legs, which were broken off at the base of the tv, and it was leaning backward, against the wall. When turned on, it received zero channels. Audio was present, but the picture was nothing but green diagonal stripes. I was able to check the wifi signal and it showed 'Luxury Inn Guest', but had 'poor signal strength'. There were old screw holes at the entry door where a strap lock had been removed. To top it off, there was a dirty rag resting on the upper corner of the drapes. More like 'Ghetto Inn' - $132/night. Never again...

It is in the worst part of town with drug and prostitutes in and out. There were drug dealing going on in the parking lot. I would never stay there and when I called Hotels.com they weren’t going to refund my money until I spoke to the woman at the front desk. I told hotels.com that it was pretty sad that they don’t inspect the hotels on their site and that this is not the first time i have had a problem. Very disappointed in this site and the hotel.

For the price in this city it is what i expected and the other reviews are accurate. The room was clean. Not the best area of town but that is reflected in the price.

Around 9:30 in the evening the manager started banging on my door accusing me of canceling my reservation and treating to kick me out. I had no idea what he was talking about and eventually he realized his mistake but I never even reached an apology.
