This is our second stay at this hotel on the bookend of our trip. We had booked and paid for a bigger room but due to maintenance issues, they switched to another smaller room. This room is so small it made it very difficult to move around and unpack and pack our two suitcases. Despite this inconvenience, when we inquired about a later checkout, the hotel manager did not offer any accommodation to compensate for the smaller room switch. Instead, we were quoted $30 for a later checkout out fee. Not very good customer service for the inconvenience. Disappointing.

Prime location, staff were friendly and helpful, nice kitchenette including a microwave, bathroom pristine Common area carpet worn and a little stained

Decent clean modern minimalist type of boutique hotel. Price was decent. Non-contact check in and out which worked well. There are only 11 free parking spots in the back of the building. I was lucky that the lot was pretty empty. Would stay here again.

Our first experience with an automated hotel. It was great! Clean cozy room. Great location. Staff was warm and friendly. She answered all our questions and was very kind. Thank you Highliner!

Staff are terrible.

stayed overnight, place was clean, quite, and the bed was comfortable. Maybe add a few snacks.

Room was clean and comfortable. Instructions for self-check in were prompt and clear. Parking was close and safe. I stayed at the end of my Alaskian trip, and had to leave at 230 am to catch my fight home. It was perfect for that. The only downside was that it was all stairs, which they did warn about. I didn’t have too many stairs for my room, but that was the only thing I didn’t like too much but really was fine.

Cute place, definitely will come back

Affordable option for business travel. Rooms and bathroom are small- but this was expected and not an issue for a solo traveler for work.

Located in town It is an upstairs room, so if you're carrying luggage this could be an issue. There is no lift. Inside room with no windows. Vagrants walking the street in the area.

Good location near places to eat. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. When we booked I emailed the hotel about holding our luggage the day we checked out they said no problem. Problems, the K ave location, where we stayed has staff there only until 6pm. We would be picking up our luggage at 5/30pm. They couldn’t guarantee staff would still be there. So we had to get a Taxi To take our luggage to one of their other Locations. They held our luggage and the staff at that location were excellent

The location is in a quiet, tucked-away spot right next to a lovely park. While the walk back from downtown can feel a bit long after dinner, returning to a peaceful area was nice. The lower-level café serves fantastic drinks and pastries, and being a short walk from Fire Island Bakery makes for an incredible morning routine. However, the unit itself had noticeable drawbacks: a tiny bathroom, a slow-draining shower, a broken ceiling fan that made the room stuffy with the window closed overnight, and thin ceilings that let in a lot of noise from upstairs neighbors. Parking is plentiful though the lot layout is a bit odd. Despite the great food options nearby, the room issues mean I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Very good

Front desk staff was very friendly. The hot water was not working for over 12 hours. Management offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience but never issued the refund, even after being asked at the front desk and an email.

Hotel was located in downtown which made accessing restaurants and coastal trail very convenient. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the tub was clogged with hair and shower water was backing up. Never saw any employees during the visit. Coffee shop closed at 11 at checkout when we wanted to buy breakfast. 😢

Room was tiny and barely enough room to get in and out of bed or to turn around in front of the shower. Not much room for personal items either no dresser. It was ok for getting in late but that’s it.

We appreciated the early check-in that the manager gave us. King bed was comfy, but room was very small. We were on the 3rd floor, with no elevator (though, again, manager helped carry one of our bags). Room was facing L Street, which had very noisy traffic. Very good location in downtown area.
