Albemarle Inn

Such charm at Albemarle. Lori at the front was above accommodating and hospitable. Definitely a must stay if you're looking for a B&B.

Reception welcomed me in. My room was one of the first floor "sitting rooms" and was very comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and interesting. It was a great experience.

This is a beautiful old home on the National Register of Historic Places. The rooms are spacious and the staff gracious.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful. Bed was really comfortable and the home was well maintained and lovely. Convenient to restaurants and River Arts area.

The young girl (18) with long curly hair. Sorry her name escapes me. She was a joy! Without my interaction with her I would have been alone at the Inn - :) I booked for the age and historical building and the grounds. I was sad to see the gardens in the condition they were in.

Staff, location, and ambience of the property. Our room was a little small--we got it on Booking.com and knew it was the last available for the holiday weekend. We would love to go back and stay in a larger room. The staff was amazing, made great dinner recommendations for our 25th wedding anniversary, we had a great spa experience--it was just lovely. Bigger bed, larger room. We were on the 3rd floor in what was clearly the smallest room available.

Beautiful old mansion in a quiet part of town. Everything was fabulous.

The breakfast location was lovely! The food offered was delicious (esp for continental). The server very pleasant! Our accommodations were great: nice-sized room, comfortable bed, efficient A/C, sufficient bathroom facility. Nothing we didn't like!

The breakfast was a very simple continental breakfast, though it was good. Typically, at a place such as this, the breakfast is cooked. The location was good. Everything just seemed old. The staff was nice, but not what I would consider overly hospitable. In staying at other bed-and-breakfast places, we expected more.

From check-in to check out everything at the Alfa Mar Inn was simply delightful. This is our second day and this beautiful Greek revival Home. Our bed was particularly comfortable in the ribbon and roses room. We were more than content with the delicious continental breakfast served every morning. The fresh brewed coffee is definitely a must! I also love the staff‘s attention to detail from cookies at night for the guest to comfortable robes in each bedroom. I look forward to planning our next day. Special shout out to all the staff who checked us in and kept stocked our special guest kitchen for everyone at the end. Thank you for a wonderful stay again!

We had a great stay. The inn was beautiful and the receptionist very helpful. The bathroom was a bit small, but that is to be expected in an older home. We really enjoyed the breakfast provided. It was a very quiet place to relax.
