voco Astoria by IHG

Exceptional

Two of us stayed in the family suite and I loved the privacy it offered, along with the closeness of simply lounging. The rooms were super-cute and did not feel cramped. And they were very clean! Everyone we encountered among the staff was very nice and always helpful. I was on a staycation at the hotel with a friend visiting from out of town for three nights. We both enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again.

The property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly & helpful. The room was very good but small compared to usual. The property is located close to 30th Street subway station and very convenient.

The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable; I was worried about the noise coming from the subway station near the hotel, but the windows could suppress the outside buzz. It is also very well located, I could go anywhere at any time, since N and W trains linked Astoria to Downtown and vice-versa, in a matter of minutes. The staff was always there to help and kind, I appreciate y’all. Nothing to declare.

We travel to Astoria often to visit family and found this gem of a hotel. Great location, comfy bed, clean room and nice shower. The front desk personnel were very friendly and even allowed us to check out an hour later upon request. This will be our go to hotel next time we are in town.

Good location

Location, proximity to the sub way and locality Drinking water bottles restricted to two through out the stay.

The room was so nice, on the smaller side but was just there one night for a staycation. It was perfect.

Everything was clean, staff was very nice and metro was close. If your room is on the side of the metro you will hear every train coming in and out.

all good

Great location for us, room was clean, and the staff were so helpful. We got there early and our room was already available

Superb

This is a great alternative to the airport hotels by LGA - the neighborhood is awesome and the food options nearby are amazing. It’s also incredible how soundproofed the rooms are, the train is directly out front of the hotel but even front facing rooms are quiet and peaceful Check in took forever - there was only one person working the front desk on a Saturday evening and there is no where to queue and wait - I waited over 30 minutes to check in because the party in front of me was having an issue with their reservation. They upgraded my room to make up for it but hanging out in the common areas of the hotel is not comfortable and the seating area outside belongs to the restaurant not the hotel. You can’t sit there unless you order a drink.

Pat at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He made my day with his kindness after my flight was canceled!

Clean room, nice staff

Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful.

Very clean room, staff was very helpful, there was no noise from train.

We love the Voco and stay here whenever we’re in Astoria! Excellent staff, clean and comfortable rooms, a fantastic Greek restaurant on the first floor and literally steps from the subway. Awesome spot.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and had a nice view. The staff were all welcoming! The restaurant on site, Anemi, is very good and highly recommend! And the sparkling water option at the refill station is a nice touch!

Love this place! My favorite place to stay at in New York. Staff is always so friendly. Being so close to transportation makes it so helpful.
