Budget Inn

It was a ok place to stay for one night! They should provide a bath mat because the bathroom floor gets wet very easily. It’s also easy to hear other guests, so people who are light sleepers might have trouble falling asleep. Bring your earplugs!

It sufficed!

You get what you pay for have low expectations but the staff was very nice

While they provide a much needed service to the community bridging the gap between the already marginalized low income and unhoused demographics, the recent state push at identification document requirements meant I was unable to check in and was not refunded for a service I was not provided. In most cases, when you pay someone for a good or service and then are denied that good or service and your money is kept, it's considered theft but this is the colonizers system where every head has a dollar amount and every resource a value to be extracted then discarded.

Clean, affordable, basic room

Affordable and clean. I live rurally and the bus service is limited on the weekends. I frequently work events in downtown Austin and need a clean, affordable place to land when I'm working.
