It was convenient and close to a lot of places. The elevator not working and the hallway had a burning oil smell

We arrived late and the staff was very helpful. Our room was very clean

Walked into our room, immediately smelled musty. The ac was off, we turned it on hoping it would clear the air. The restroom had been clogged with poop that was already there. We had to call staff, she was nice and came and disinfected the restroom. We had to go to HEB to purchase room spray and disinfectant spray, one of the bed sheets had a green small stain almost looked like a booger. Over all it felt yucky.

We did a early check in for $25 the only thing we were told was that the elevators don’t work, no one gave us a breakfast time or a pool time I was told that “the signs right there” which was a small plaque that you can only see exiting the building (rude right), we got in the room the shower had hair in it which tells me they didn’t clean the room properly so housekeeping came and cleaned it. Afterwards I saw one roach so I killed it, a few minutes later another roach appeared so I didn’t make a big deal of it. We went down and there were dead grasshoppers everywhere coming in from the pool area, later that night I was up and encountered 3 more roaches plus one was on my daughters bed so I called front desk and told them what happened so the guy accommodated us which was the best part of being here. He moved us to another room immediately and apologized which we were thankful for him. They don’t vacuum the halls or the rooms well at least the room I was in wasn’t. The elevators have been broken for months so that shouldn’t be an excuse. The coffee was very watery and didn’t have that coffee taste. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

We had a place to sleep which was good but that’s about where it stopped. The elevator was working “sometimes” the staff said. We didn’t have any extra towels. There were dead crickets all over the place. I tried calling down to the office to get a “Do Not Disturb” sign but no one would answer. To top it off I think we got bed bugs. I would like some compensation back.

Nothing about this property was favorable. The elevators were broken. Although I had prebooked with a reservation on the 1st floor all they had left was on the third. Counter person was extremely non shallant when I remarked about the reservation and plainly said " You are welcome to find somewhere else, but at this hour good luck" Very sketchy part of town, read the reviews people. Once I hiked 3 floors with my luggage the smell of mold and mildew was overwhelming when I opened the door.

Angel was an absolute gem during a difficult bereavement stay. 10/10 reccomend.

Having access to a stove and fridge was a major selling point! Also, the free breakfast was extremely convenient. Unfortunately the second floor had a strong stench of sewer which extended to the room I stayed in. There was also a dead cockroach on the floor near the bed’s headrest. Lastly, the largest downfall for us was that EV charging station did not work which was a major inconvenience as I chose this extended stay because of the EV charging. If this is one of the amenities you’re looking for, perhaps try calling beforehand to see if it’s been fixed.

Overall, a decent stay and I’d stay again. The room was clean with a simple layout, large comfortable bed, plenty of outlets, refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and a large Samsung TV. The hotel felt secure and well maintained, and the pool looked nice. There is freeway construction nearby, so expect that. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. on weekends, so unfortunately I only got to smell it. My biggest issue was the TV. Amazon Prime wouldn’t play movies due to an HDMI/HDCP error, which was annoying. The walls are also somewhat thin. I woke up to someone’s cheeks getting clapped for a few minutes, but thankfully the midnight show ended quickly. Other than the TV and unexpected entertainment, it was a good stay. I’d definitely return, although next time I hope I’m invited to the midnight show since apparently everyone was clapping. 😂

Passable

Front desk staff was so rude. Elevators were broken. Stove and microwave in room were not functioning. Strong odor in room.
-
Staff was great! Overall, not a great experience and will not be back unfortunately. The elevators were broken. There was an odd smell to the floor and bedroom. Bugs everyhere. Breakfast was ok, not a fan of powdered eggs

Bad

Elevators weren’t working and we were on the 4th floor. Our bed wasn’t made so we had to switch rooms. Shower was really small and narrow.

Our stay was Okay. The front desk girl refused to give us a waiver on the $50 early check in fee even though we stayed for 3 nights. The manager, Luisa, was very nice and was able to get us a room in the second floor when the other girl didn’t even try to change the room knowing that the elevators where out. Our room was okay, the tv connection went in and out, the microwave didn’t work, one of the lamps on the bed frame didn’t work, there was a brown stain on the pillow, the shower leaked all night, it wasn’t the best.

The property is secluded and the access road was under construction. The swimming pool is namesake planned next to parking. No one will ever use it. Breakfast was a joke with all packaged food. Room cleaning was poor. Elevator was not working. Gym is without weights. I can go on and on about this being a cheap place to stay. Reception Staff is good tried their best but this property is not well built.
