I would not rebook this hotel. My main reason for this is that the actual room was much too small, lacking substantial privacy and also lacking basic amenities including any drawers to put clothes and no refrigerator. The room has an advertised beverage cooler but does not actually chill any items and anything perishable will certainly rot. Another is was the total lack of privacy with their frosted bathroom. You can see EVERY motion of whoever you are staying with in a muted version. For example, if you are in the shower shaving or scrubbing an area of your body, the person on the outside can see every motion in a shadow like presentation and the same goes for using the toilet. All motions on full display!!! We also got stuck inside the bathroom multiple times due to the sliding door being very heavy and having to use two hands and full body strength to pull the door open to allow yourself to get out. If you are an older weaker person you certainly could trap yourself if you are alone and not strong. I would also not stay here if you want any level of basic privacy from the person you are staying with and are okay with them seeing you basically sit on the toilet and scrub your body. We did really like the restaurant arriba abajo that is inside the restaurant. Just an FYI $70 fee to park day for 1 night and $40 early check in fee which we did find worth it. The westin is directly across the street and would be a great secondary option if the above stated comments bother you.

This hotel was incredible. Staff was spectacular. So kind and giving. Hotel itself we as clean and near so many things. Valet park was a good one.

I was pretty disappointed in my stay here. First, there was no parking. I pulled up to valet and asked if the hotel had any parking other than valet and they told me its valet parking only and $63. That is crazy to me and unexpected. The staff was very friendly throughout. My room was very small and smelled funny. Like a sweet dirty. The sink was odd. It was like a bar sink and had to wash my face from a side angle of the sink. I was hoping to take a dip in the pool but from my room I could tell the pool was unkept looking. Then, it was hot in there. The thermo said 68 but it was definitely not 68. I had to be up early for a meeting the next day and was too tired to complain. I was hopeful it would just cool off. But it didn’t so I slept without blankets and tossed and turned all night. In the morning I was so tired and was hoping for breakfast. After packing up I went downstairs but the line for coffee and something to eat was far too long that I would be late if I stopped. Then went out to valet where there was also a very long wait. Had I known these things would take so long, I would have planned ahead for it. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Loved everything about this property. The pool area is very slippery as I saw 2 people slip and fall.

Fun, modern, and charming space with a kind and attentive staff. Loved the bar/pool area. I was traveling solo and enjoyed my stay.

    Nice place

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

I one thousand percent recommend staying here! Everything about it was PERFECT! There is a rooftop bar, the pool is relaxing, the room is lovely, the location is great!

From the moment that we arrived to the moment that we left the front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. Everything else, from the welcome and friendly vibe of the place to the looks and the amenities of the hotel were exceptional. The downside in my opinion was that the room didn't have microwave and there were no ice makers on the floors; you had to call the front desk every time you need it ice and wait for it to be brought to your room.

Wonderful location and the hotel is really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful with everything. The terrace pool was a nice bonus! We would love to stay at this hotel again!

    Amazing stay!!

We had a room over the pool and on a weekend night there was loud music we could still hear on the 11th floor. There is not much privacy in the bathroom

The property is lovely, and amenities appreciated however I'm not a fan of glass bathrooms for obvious reasons

We came to the Tommie for just one night and I really wanted to love this hotel. Overall, the property is lovely and the staff were wonderful friendly, welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, the room design, specifically the bathroom, was a dealbreaker for us. I knew the rooms were small going in, so the size itself wasn’t an issue. The problem was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The glass doors provide virtually no privacy, which is just uncomfortable when traveling as a couple. The glass door was also surprisingly loud, so using the restroom during the night meant waking up my husband. The sink setup was awkward, and the mirror was positioned in a way that made it difficult to actually use. There is a lot to like about the Tommie, and I genuinely wanted to like it more. The staff and overall hotel experience were great, but the bathroom design made the room impractical and uncomfortable for us. Unfortunately, for that reason alone, we wouldn’t return.
