It’s a wonderful hotel. One block from the beach. The hot tubs in the rooms are great. The amenities are very nice. Parking can be tricky when vehicles are large. Street parking available. Underground garage for average to small vehicles. It’s very quiet and peaceful. I loved the old world charm. Definitely will return!

The staff were exceptional. I hoping this means they are treated well. They have perks all day long! Croissants and coffee every morning, nachos at lunch, wine and cheese and meats at 5 and pies at 8! We never went hungry.

This was our first time visiting Avila Beach and I'm so glad I chose Avila La Fonda. The location was perfect. The room was comfy. The treats in the room, the food served at various times, and of course the amazing pie, really added to our experience! The pantry was an awesome feature too! Avila Beach was the perfect location for exploring different areas of the central coast during our trip since we headed both north to Morro Bay and South to Pismo to explore those areas in addition to enjoying the quaint town of Avila Beach. The hotel decor and atmosphere was perfect and the staff were incredibly nice.

Beautiful hotel that we revisit whenever we're in the area. Fantastic staff! I left my sandals in the room and they were returned to me at the hotel's expense. The best place to stay on the central coast!

The staff was top notch when it came to excellent customer service. The room and kitchen were extremely clean. I enjoyed the kitchen table and wished we would have brought our cards or dominoes. The portable AC worked better than expected and we stayed cool. They offered plenty of free snacks as a warm welcoming. We had a nice stay for our first time in Avila beach.

Uniques, clean, friendly Nothing

Beautiful Spanish style decor graces the entire building. The kitchen had a full refrigerator and amenities for preparing meals. It is just a block from the beach and cafes in this small beach town. The happy hours, breakfasts, and pies were amazing. We had some wonderful conversations with other guests. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, a fantastic getaway. Our room had a fan, but often was often a little warm. The shower was uncomfortably small, but the tub was big enough for two!
