What I like most that we had to leave as soon as we got there, there was roaches in the bed roaches on the floor just roaches all over the place we didn’t need that kind of company and we got six rooms for our band and when the girls had a roach crawl on her, she hurried up and ran out of there so we wind up leaving. I paid for the rooms by Expedia credit card. All the rooms were paid for, and they still charge my credit card after it was paid and when I asked them, why would they charge my credit card? They act like they didn’t understand English so I had to file a push report of them using my credit card after my room was paid a month in advance. It smell like onions in the front office. We had two people in our room myself and my husband and they gave us one towel. Then you have to find the remote control, but they don’t tell you that they leave them in the front so we had to go walk back to the front. I paid a room with two beds a month prior and then they said they were out of two beds, but I paid for it a month prior and we wind up having a single room the Air Cond work thank God the floor was clean so we can see the roaches and the roaches love climbing up the walls. This is not even a place to stay overnight and watch out for your credit card. They pulled out $50.54 and they put on another $60 then they pull out another $50 and they put on another 60 it doesn’t even add up to the room like I said I paid for a month and a half. There was no reason for them to charge me

I wouldn’t say the hotel itself. It’s bad but the location that it is in even with the gate being closed at night is a very sketchy area. I was kind of scared to leave my car out there. I actually ended up with a scratch near the tail light on the right hand side, which I didn’t realized was there until the very next day after I already left Bakersfield so

The property itself was fine. It’s an inexpensive motel, you truly can’t expect more than clean. The service was good. It was quiet once all the residents (yep you heard that correctly, it’s also transitional housing for what I suspect to be economically struggling people. I’m fine with that, just wasn’t expecting it) honored quiet hours. On the plus side because they are residents they sort of seemed to keep a close eye on the happenings of the property and there did not seem to be any riffraff on the property. The main office had more cameras than glamour shots. My only two hangups. The neighborhood was wicked sketchy. There was a huge steel fence around the motel. So initially I was worried about my kids college bags being left in the car. They were totally fine. The other hangup is they are clearly used to heat because there were no blankets on the bed. Literally a sheet and a sheet like covering. We are used to cool so we jacked the AC all the way up and then ended up being cold as morning approached. The motel was a bit run down. Like the faucet on the sink had no caulking and you could see lots patch holes in the walls. They checked out TV remotes at the front office. Bathroom was tiny, it was as long as a bathtub and as wide as the bathtub and toilet being next to each-other. Would I stay again? Probably not, but you get what you pay for and I literally booked it in the middle of the night since I knew we would only be resting a few hours.

When we arrived a child who was staying there came up to car begging for money while his parents sat and watched. When we tried to pull in parking space he came right at us on a scooter trying to intimidate. We did not feel safe. Explained to desk clerk and he apologized but I’m sure th

Clean, and updated rooms. Air conditioner works. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Staff was helpful but they were not in the front desk, I had to ring doorbell and wait. Parking is clean area, safe the gate were closed, enough parking available. It was a quiet night.

Nothing Cockroaches and ants! Also, people blaring music in the middle of the night and yelling at each other

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Accommodations were comfortable. I'm an old guy, would appreciate an elevator.
