Great location, near charming downtown (old) Bend. Everything worked and the bed was comfy. As per usual, there were too many random little lights in the room when one tries to sleep. The folks at the bar were particularly nice, lending us some plates and a little milk for the morning coffee. There's was nothing unique about this property, but nothing to complain about either. The price was right!

I enjoyed my one night stay in Bend Or. The Newberry is a very nice hotel. I would stay again.

The rooms were clean and nice and the balcony was great!
-
Great location right downtown across from the Bend Visitor Center. We enjoyed our stay and the value was good relative to other hotel choices in the area. Parking was a plus and relatively inexpensive.
-
Room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent shower also. Very convenient location to downtown.

We had a nice comfortable stay at the Newberry. The rooms were roomy and the beds comfortable. We reserved a room with a 'balcony' which was very small; not sure I would pay for that next time. The location is awesome. The bar and staff were great. And the front desk people were very helpful.

Loved our experience at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wonderful location to downtown Bend.

We liked the room because it was big and the bed was comfortable and clean. I paid more for a balcony but it was very small and just had a big tree in front of it. Also, I had to pay for parking but could barely find a parking spot. There were a bunch of spots that were coned off and inaccessible. We had to park pretty far away. If I pay for parking, I expect to park pretty close to the hotel. I saw they had a restaurant on site and I looked at the menu for dinner but there are very few options available. We DoorDashed food instead.

The Newberry is a very nice hotel in a great location in downtown Bend. It’s a very short walk to lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. in downtown Bend. We’ll definitely stay at the Newberry again while in Bend.

This is a nice hotel in a great location, right next to downtown Bend. Staff was thoughtful, competent and friendly. We liked our room. Parking was easy and close to our room. The location is literally just steps from two bookstores, dozens of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and other (somewhat pricey) retail stores. If we come to Bend again, this is definitely where we would stay. Recommended.

Great location, lots of common space. Very walkable.
-
Great location, too!

I stayed there with my partner and my dog. We had a great time. This was our second time there. We would definitely stay there again when we are back in town.

Location is perfect for a downtown Bend experience.

Diner food.

The location is superb, easily walkable to downtown and the riverfront. Breakfast was really good too and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Delusions of grandeur I upgraded to a balcony room and it was a complete waste. I’m attaching pictures of the view and the balcony. The bathroom fan ran all night (switch was off) so there was a constant hum. Pillows went completely flat as soon as I laid my head down. Parking is $20 per night. Bed was restively comfortable. Towels were a nice size

Nice clean rooms, extremely walkable to downtown. Someone did open our door around 8:30am while we were in there though which means either hotel staff ignored our do not disturb placard on the door handle or multiple rooms have the same key, which is somewhat concerning.
