Nice suites in the historic John Hand Building in downtown Birmingham. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Make sure and have a drink in the Club in the 20th floor.

It’s a hidden gem. It was so peaceful!

Outstanding, in the heart of Birmingham. Exceeded every expectation

What a wonderful stay, we will surely come again. This is not your typical hotel with the typical amenities such as mini-fridge/coffee-maker in-room. However, there’s a shared space with all of the amenities on a much nicer scale than what would be available in-room (complimentary k-cups, individual snacks, well-stocked with dishware/silverware, etc.). No in-room service, either, but there’s so much delicious dining just steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful king-sized bed with high-end sheets and the BEST shower we have ever experienced (and we’ve traveled quite a bit). The shower was large and spacious, completely tiled, glass on 2 sides, and the water pressure and showerhead felt like a massaging waterfall. The staff was wonderful — helpful and welcoming and made us feel like we were at home.

This was an amazing stay! My husband and I was so impressed with everything and it was so peaceful and beautiful.

Will definitely stay here again! Beautiful okace close to many walkable restaurants. Wonderful staff and views. Elated.

This place is awesome!! Very secure and quaint. Nice rooms and a comfortable bed. Access to the John Hand Club on the top floor is very nice. Location was great and service impeccable. We will stay there again.

Phenomenal place to stay quiet and private

Clean room but rooms are really small compared to pictures. For 300.00 a night I was expecting more.

Very clean, very nice and Carlton was the best. Show us everything we needed to know !.Also loved the bar on the 20th floor. The two bartenders were very knowledgeable, great conversational and made a mean lemon drop martini!!

Absolute beauty of a building and view with prime location to walk to Paramount and ZaZa.

we didn’t stay and we want our money back. It’s in the worst part of town and the reviews were terrible. We drove way out of the way to our next destination.
