Close to where my function was at Nice clean

Not kept up nicely. Basic improvements would make the entire experience better. Pool was under disrepair, gym rundown and lacking. Overall fair experience

Tv sucked no chanels

This hotel seems to have a bad mold problem. My room smelled really moldy and I heard other guests complaining that theirs did too. The staff was really nice and helpful, though.

The room was clean but had a strong onion odor, we tried to air it out but even the pillows kind of smelled like it. The hotel was quiet, so that was nice. A lot of the common areas were kind of dirty.

Had my stay at the candlewood suites in Bloomington on September 6th. Got my room on the second floor immediately noticed that the shower/tub was full of hair there were gnats flying around in the room AC barely worked noticed that when I used the tile to wipe some water up off the floor was completely filthy. The only had one working washer for guests to use as I was informed by the front desk staff that the other one was broke down at the time. Horrible experience would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Kitchenete For all senors & wheelchair travelers toilet was to low

Glasses on kitchen had lipstick on them. Clearly not washed, which led me to not want to use Anything in the kitchen. Other than that, place was fine for one night. Dishwasher had not been put away either. That really shouldn’t by the guests job.

The place is nice, the staff is super helpful. The only issue is that the staff tends to smoke right in front of the building. Our room was right off the front and while the building says, smoke " 10 feet from the building" that did not seem to be the case.

It was so gross and smelled so bad and I will never stay there again

We have gone here multiple times with our dogs. The staff remembered us and were so kind. They went out of their way so that we could get the same room each time so our dogs were familiar with the “scent” of the room. By the third time we visited they were very calm and relaxed. It made the stay so much better!

It was perfect for what we needed and a lot less than some of the other places in the area!

Not as clean as I would expect

We were told we would have access to an extra bed since our room had a king size bed. There were no extra beds when we checked-in. We had to figure out how to sleeps that night and then left. They were kind to refund us one night of our reservation.

Clean, comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, fully stocked restroom bed was amazing quiet safe will definitely go back

So the staff at 5:30am made so much noise with people across the hall from us that we didn't get sleep. I witnessed the people check in before we did with the guy named Jeff. Then I heard them say they weren't checked into the room, even though I watched them pay. I was told they even called the police saying they were squatting. I don't know if the employee made a mistake when entering their information, but to treat someone the way they did was not only unprofessional, but very wrong. I'm just warning anyone who stays here to be very careful because it appeared that the hotel was doing something fraudulent.

The room was so clean and everything you needed in the kitchen was available.it felt like a home.The staff was so helpful.

I want to start by saying River at the front desk was amazing. She was bubbly, happy, nice, and helpful. The hotel and room needed some serious updating. My husband and I traveled for many years and stayed in multiple different Candlewood Suites. The previous ones were upscale, nice, extremely clean, and well kept, but the one in Bloomington, IN was run down. Cracks in the chairs in the room, pool out of service, stains and hair on 2 out of the 4 pillows, the chair by the bed was disgusting looking, there was a pile of hair behind the bathroom door. I mean I can literally go on and on about our dislikes of this suite. Once hotels/suites start allowing anybody to live there they go down hill extremely fast. You can’t just let anybody in. I get they are pet ready which I like, but when we get woken up constantly throughout the night with someone’s dog barking like crazy it becomes a problem. I won’t recommend any Candlewood Suites to anybody again or maybe, it’s just the Bloomington location and people living there. It felt very uncomfortable and unsafe walking to my car with all kinds of people walking in and out and standing in front of the doors smoking. It almost looked like the bathroom ceiling had water damage at one time and they just had it painted over it. Not sure if you can tell in the uploaded picture.
