Aloft by Marriott Bolingbrook

Great location clean friendly staff easy check check out

Bad

Love the layout of the Aloft rooms. The onsite gathering spaces and outdoor space with fire pits offer outs of places to relax and recharge.

Superb

Room was never cleaned during our 3 night stay. We had to find staff for towels. Night Manager was asleep when we had to difficulty using card to access hotel. We had to wake family member to let us in.

Exceptional

I arrived before the check in time and planned to finalize my reservation with my bank debit card. However, to my dismay the charges for my stay at the hotel were already taken from the credit card I used to hold my room. When I inquired as to why my credit card had been charged upfront, but other family members registered at the hotel didn’t have to finalize payment until their arrival. I was told by the hotel front desk, that since I didn’t make the hotel reservations directly with Aloft Hotel, Expedia charged my card early. In addition, I was not told about the extra charge that would be taken from the card I used to hold the room, this caused a negative charge on the card I used to hold my room.

The hotel was close to shops and restaurants. The shower was dirty.

room was great

Very good experience had a wonderful time at the property

The ambiance and the way we all were able to fit comfortably in the dining areas and outside in the patio area No microwave in the room, and the pool needed to be cleaned and no continental breakfast

What I didn't like was not enough staff to support the amount of people in the lounge bar area for ordering food. Drinks were excellent, bartender give him a 5 star for service. Didn't like manager asked decorations be removed after initially it was ok to bring them. I did find in my room the shower door handle was not firmly tightened. Could be a hazard as they are very heavy glass doors.

Good

The staff member working the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming

Very nice hotel made better by the great staff

Very good

Staff couldn’t be found. Toilet wasn’t flushed. Floors were still dirty and sheets weren’t clean.

Nice clean hotel in good location. Only downside was that I was there for three nights and no cleaning staff checked on the room.

Bar. Food good. And there is other food close. Very clean.

When we arrived to check in, we were told that there was no room available. Beware — if you book this hotel through Expedia or another travel app, your reservation is not guaranteed.
