Colony Inn

It is definitely a bargain hotel. Check in was quick, they do take a cash deposit for incidentals, which you get back when you check out. Amenities are light you get towels but no hand towels or wash clothes. We also killed a big roach. The bed was very form and had a metal base that made noise everytime you moved. It is very close to Knots which was wonderful.

Outdated rooms, cockroaches, TV remote didn't work, swimming pool green with ducks in it.

Clean and cozy. The parking lot of the hotel was right across the street from knotts so it was incredibly convenient. Staff was quick and friendly. For the price it was perfect.

the location of the hotel to knott berry farm was closer than expected. the hotel itself is decent for the price. and lastly, the had a great amount of family room for all our families that visit knott berry farm that night. 1. please make sure that all door gap are sealed. 2. the floor is very dirty/dusty. Made our feet very dirty after shower or after we wash our feet. Facility and the housekeeping can had done better than just cleaning the room for the next guess.

Exceptional

Nothing!!! I couldn't stay there. I was "homeless" for the night. Location seems nice as it was close to Knotts Berry Farm and IHop and other items to use. Bugs running across floor soon as light turned on in both rooms offered. First room offered the beds were not made or someone inspected them and said no way... bugs here. Second room offered turned the light on and watch bugs run. Tell the check in attendant of issues and he says "hey, I am just trying to help you, don't yell at me". Yell is not accurate but I was stern and he had not seen irate yet. He didn't tell me where first room was and I had to ask him where it was after 15min of looking. Poorly run. I decided after 2 rooms were bug infested and not close to one another I would sleep in car as I had to be on the road in 6 hours or less as I kept losing time with this check in. Attendant appeared to leave property and I barely was able to give key card back and say I am not staying here and not paying. He said to e-mail booking.com of my decision and hopped in a car and left.

Un totalmente ASCO !! Habían cucarachas por todos lados …. Lo peor que no quicieron devolverme el dinero y pagué demasiado para esa habitación . Nunca se queden alli … hasta ratones habían .

Staff was friendly and get an A+. That was the only good thing. And I got my cash deposit back. Roaches in the room. Hair on the bathroom floor. Burn holes in the bedding. A weird plastic cover on the mattress that crinkled. Yeah, I didn't even get under the covers. The curtain was weird and held together with safety pins. What dressers. They were all falling apart and not usable. Above all else, there was no active smoke detector. There was one on the ceiling, but it had an open hole where the batteries should have gone. I would never go back to this place. I've gone to some cheap hotels in my day. Just to catch some sleep. The neglect of the room surpasses anything I have encountered. Oh, and worst of all. We walked in and were immediately hit with a smell of mold. Not the stuffy hotel smell. No, this was worse. We all woke up with congestion in the morning.

We had to book this spot as a last minute, but it was so terrible. Luckily we didn’t experience any bugs.

It’s absolutely disgusting, I hated every second I was in there, couldn’t wait to leave

Not what I expected

Only good thing about this place is how close you are to knotts berry farm and the surrounding areas. Or room was full of roaches and when I asked for a new room they said they were booked, which is understandable. They didn't have any bug spray at the property and when I expressed that i was unhappy he said he would see what he could do and get back you me. He never got back to me and I decided not to stay, so I went back to the front desk, checked out and was refused a refund. Called Hotels.com to get help from them and was still refused a refund because the property denied it.

The bed sheets were reused given that there was hair left behind. The towels had hair on them as well. There were two bars of soap that were so harsh to the skin. The water pressure was terrible in the shower. The staff were not welcoming and in a rush to get us out of their presence. The walls are so thin I could hear the neighboring room’s conversing. Terrible experience overall. Dirty, disgusting and will never return.

El servicio increíble! Pero el hotel es muy viejo y tienen problemas de chinches, y cucarachas!
