Great location. Older rooms but clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had an excellent stay at Kings Courtyard Inn! Everything was truly on point. The front desk team was supportive and welcoming, the rooms were very clean, and room service was quick and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Charleston, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast was very good, and I especially enjoyed the daily wine and cheese reception from 5–6 PM. It was beautifully arranged and a wonderful touch. The charming courtyard with the fountain was also a lovely place to sit and relax. Everyone was friendly, understanding, and accommodating throughout my stay. Overall, an excellent choice for staying in Charleston, and I would definitely recommend it!

The Kings Courtyard Inn was really nice. Although they charge $35 a night to park which was a block away and you had to park on the top floor (5 floors) of the parking garage. The big thing with booking on Expedia is they put you in the least favorable room always at the back of the hotel usually with no view and this has happen to me several times with booking on Expedia.

friendly staff. room is clean. convenient location.

The location of the inn is perfect, easy to get to all the sites and the restaurants. Very neat, historic hotel.

Very charming well kept Inn in the heart of the shopping district. Well restored, clean, staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was served and menu to choose from included bagels, pastries, toast, etc.; cereal or oatmeal; fruit; yogurt; coffee/tea; and choice of juices. At 5:00 they had wine and cheese (cheese and crackers were simple, yet very good). Room was clean, small, but very nice. Bathroom was modern and clean.

Great location on King but tucked back a bit. Elegant, comfy rooms. Breakfast is great and the staff are just really lovely especially the guys that help at breakfast and happy hour. It’s a charming place and sort of a hidden gem. Nothing!

First time visitor to Charleston and I wasn't sure where to stay. Through luck we ended up at King's Courtyard Inn and it couldn't have been better. Loved the location, right in the heart of everything but still quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! the breakfast and happy hours were not to be missed. If ever we're back in the area, we'll definitely stay here again!

Staff were amazing. James helped us navigate parking lots and how to arrive to the building! Check in was easy and quick. The inn is so charming and the location was absolutely perfect. Building was safe as you have to buzz to get in through main street. Room was beautiful, they use its original door and key i found super cool. Breakfast can be brought to the room. The beds were a little uncomfortable but no big deal.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Felt like being a part of Charleston History with its old city charm. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast delivered to the room was a bonus! Would stay again.
-
Excellent included breakfast actually served at tables in the lovely courtyard by pleasant staff. That was really a nice way to start each day. The included wine and sherry later in the day were also appreciated.
-
Location of the hotel is awesome - central to everything! They have a great breakfast and a really nice happy hour. They also have coffee available very early with some muffins and croissants and some fresh fruit if you are up before they start serving breakfast. Our room was perfect and clean. The only thing I would recommend to them is…. clean up the little courtyard - it could be done with very little effort. Staff was amazing as well. I give it a 10 out of 10.

The staff treated us like family. Everyone was friendly & helpful. The room was beautiful and the Inn was clean and decorated elegantly.
-
The hotel was great! The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was great. Although parking was $35 a night which is high, the garage was really easy to use, it's close, and there were plenty of spaces.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kings Courtyard, and will definitely be back! Perfect location on King Street and fantastic staff.
-
Nice large, clean room and comfortable beds in a good location on the main shopping road. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a little basic but was served to your table which was nice. Parking was in garage on 5th floor behind and across from building so it was not convenient for loading and unloading of vehicle for suitcases. Overall a nice stay in good location. Loved the indoor outdoor areas and the double sinks in bathroom
