Very clean and nice.

I was totally satisfied with the staff cleanliness of the room and all their amenities excellent hotel great location I will highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
-
Such a great hotel and the location was amazing for attending a concert at the Spectrum Center, right across the street! The staff was professional and very friendly! Highly recommend!

We had a room with 5 people and only 2 bath towels. While I know I could have simply asked for more, the room ought to start out with enough towels. Also the scrambled eggs were ice cold; as in they felt like they had been frozen & not thawed all the way before serving. Minor things! Great stay overall

We arrived just before 4:00 and there was literally a line of 20 people waiting to check in. It stretched outside the hotel. That makes no sense. You know how many people are checking in. I do understand it can be hard to get people to check out in time but I won't stand outside. If I come again and there's a line checking in like that, I won't come back. We were in room 307. You really need to glance at that room and finish it. Where the sofa is, there's no light over there so it's just a dark area of the room. The picture on the wall isn't centered above the sofa so it's like the room has been cannibalized for furniture. If you look at the furniture next to the bed, on the right side there is an easy place for my wife to plug in things. On the left side I had to crawl under the furniture to find a plug. I happen to have an extension cord and that makes no sense. If you're looking at the window on the left-hand side, it looks like somebody has pulled furniture out of there again because there's a power plug and a big corner, but nothing's in it. There's no lamp and there's no desk. There ought to be a desk there to put your stuff. I put the suitcase stand over there to have a place to put my suitcase and it looked less bad. I like going to concerts at Spectrum and I love that you're across the street but I'm really going to have to look around to see if anybody else is within walking distance. Your hotel's nice but I can't go if is going to take away from the fun.

Great location with ample parking right beside the Spectrum Center.

Make sure the check-in time is honored. We were to check in at 3pm. Did not get a room until 5pm. We were late to our venue because of the hotel delay in getting our room.

We booked this hotel for one night because we're attending a concert tonight. Check-in was advertised for 3 PM, and we waited from 3pm-5:45pm with no room available and no estimated resolution due the the hotel having no clean rooms available. Because of this delay, we missed our dinner reservations because we had nowhere to get dressed and prepare for the evening. This has directly impacted the plans we made and paid for. I understand that staffing and housekeeping issues happen, but those are not the guests' responsibility. On Top of the hotel charge that we did not get any relief on, we had to pay an additional $60 for parking that was not noted when booking.

Employees were exceptionally friendly Windows of bedrooms are not soundproofed properly; can heat the mono rail trains that run beside the hotel. In addition, there were excessive vehicle engine sounds throughout the night including what sounded like drag racing. This was while you could not hear anything from other rooms or people in the hotel rooms itself

Traveled from out of town to see a concert. When checking in the woman at the desk had to get the manager to get us checked in. The manager was very friendly. They didn’t have the room type I selected ready. So I got down graded but didn’t know that till I got to the room. Then we couldn’t get much sleep because of the trains every 30 minutes. If it wasn’t the trains it was the cars with very loud exhaust doing doughnuts in the parking garage across from our room. To top it off when we discovered they had free breakfast on the 2nd floor would not have known if not for the elevator stopping on the 2nd floor where we saw a sigh. Then we get to breakfast around 8am and they had no caffeinated coffee, orange juice, or waffle batter. Once I told the kitchen staff they did apologize and filled those items. Parking was over $60. I am a Bon Voyage member and expected much better from a Marriott property. Never had these issues during past Marriott stays in other locations. I will not be staying at this location again.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. However, the train tracks are right outside and you can hear the whistles all night as well as street noise. The other problem which can be easily remedied is there is not nearly enough room to sit in the breakfast room. Only a handful of tables and chairs and a large couch. They need many more chairs and tables for the droves of people all wanting to sit and eat. Also, the $55 overnight parking fee is absolutely absurd!

We attended a concert at Spectrum Center and the location was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The room wasn’t very clean. Luckily the sheets were clean but there were what looked like coffee spots on the glass cups and inside the ice bucket. There was a balloon on top of the desk and tape on the headboard. There was also hair in the shower. For almost $350, it wasn’t worth the value with the cleanliness. Lastly, when we went to the continental breakfast in the morning, they ran out of milk so I couldn’t have cereal or coffee. They also had no pancakes.

Amazing experience we have a short stay but everything was clean the staff were really attentive and all looks clean

Everything was fine with the room. Convenient location.

Exceptional
-
Big room, food was great and abundant, if you are coming from far to see a game or an activity this is the place to stay.
-
Staff was great and clean comfortable rooms The noise outside we were right over the train tracks and was woke up early from it

Stayed on the 12th floor of city hotel, right across from the Spectrum center. Area was within walking distance of rooftop bars, great Charlotte restaurants, small city park areas. Hotel had a fantastic breakfast, and we stay at many Marriotts, only thing missing was fruit when I was there. Valet was quick & easy, there is a small $3 fee that they didn't disclose. Room was clean, huge, beautiful view of skyscrapers. It's the city, outside noise is there from trains, cars, bring a sound app. Shower was small but awesome, big bathroom, closet, good amenities. No tissues but they just forgot, nbd. Hotel was quiet inside I thought. I didn't use gym, bar was cute on first floor. Would definitely recommend and stay here again-- clean and can't beat location!
