The location was great. I paid to upgrade my view and got the backside of the hotel and roof. It said I was supposed to get a high floor and Michigan avenue view. I could see past the hotel roof about 25’ of Michigan avenue.

Staff very helpful with elevator failures limiting access to rooms. Hotel a little tired and worn.

Parking garage is most challenging ramp I have been on with very little room to make turns. Then have to walk outside through construction to got to hotel entrance.

Ok, I’m writing a review bc my experience at this hotel was so poor that I am hoping this will help anyone making plans. First I was pit on the 20th floor and out of three elevators only one work for a full day, this really impacted my scheduled and created significant delays. Second, upon entering the room, the pillows looked like someone had stepped all over them. The pillowcases were wrinkly and the pillows felt like they were 15 years old, battered and bumpy. Third, to top it off they had construction I’m talking drilling right next door or underneath my room. It was so loud I could not stay in my room and it took 30 mins to get down to the lobby bc there was only 1 of 3 elevators working from morning to night. I was never given advance notice of their on going construction. Had I known I would not have stayed there this is really not in good faith. And finally all their notices state that used towels that are not hung will be replaced so we assumed that housekeeping would come daily. Which is not the case. I just read a bunch of reviews just now on their site and clearly the front desk supervisor isn’t going their job bc they apologize for all these things but nothing changes. What’s the point? Do yourself a favor and don’t come. It’s overpriced!

Rooms have seen better days with work carpets and tough towels. We stayed for 5 days and requested daily servicing of room and we had to ask several times for them to do it, as we ran out of clean towels. Front desk wouldn’t let me borrow scissors. Rooms are small. Our shower had no conditioner for 4/5 days we stayed. Parking was $39 each time you left and returned daily. So if you left twice, you paid almost $80 for parking. No business center on premises, they gave you print at a hotel across the street. Rates tripled during marathon weekend.

The room was overall clean, and spacious. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was not free, and the parking was very high, parking garage attached to hotel but it’s $65 per night to self park or $70 for valet per night. It would’ve been nice to have free breakfast or reduced parking. You also can only park at metered area until 11:59pm and in increments of 2 hours at a time. Great location, my family and I did a lot of walking because we were in good proximity to a lot of stuff. Also not really good for noise, we could hear cars reviving engines, and emt/police sirens all night.

Clean room, easy check in/out

It was fine. It was clean. It was in a great location conveniently to walking anywhere and everywhere. However the water pressure in the shower was pretty non-existent, had a hard time washing my hair and getting the shampoo and conditioner out. Lighting was terrible in the bathroom for makeup application. Electrical plug in bathroom did not work and could not be reset so I had to blowdry my hair with the only plug available which was in the corner of the room on my knees so I could see in the only other mirror in the room on the nightstand. No full length mirror and I guess the doors to closet were broken, but just the clips were there like there was a door there before. Lastly, there's no luggage rack to hold your suitcase, Not the end of the world, but something to note. Staff was friendly. We didn't use the amenities but nice having a Starbucks in the hotel.
