Great location very nice rooms

I originally booked a King room a little over a month in advance but when I went to check in, I was told they overbooked and got stuck with a double. The price wasn’t discounted due to getting the smaller bed which was annoying. The system was down when I went to check in and after driving 11 and a half hours waiting 30 minutes to check in just to be told I wasn’t getting the room I booked was disheartening. The photos make the place seem nicer than it actually is but it wasn’t horrible.

The whole vibe of the hotel is urban housing. It’s a place to lay down and watch your surroundings. It right off the freeway and close to food places but they are pretty much fast food, take out. You need to like Mexican food; there is a touch of it everywhere! The location provides easy access to the 5 and to downtown and the coastal area. While the address is Chula Isra, San Diego is less than 5 minutes away without the high cost of staying in San Diego.

The rooms are small with a very modern vibe. Seems pretty cool at first. Issues for us are noise from the split air unit that would buzz like every 15 to 20 minutes. It kept my light sleeper spouse awake. Also the shower would not completely turn off. So there is water dripping sounds all night. The separation from room to bath is glass panels and so little privacy. The outlets on the desk are worn out and so I could not charge my phone there. Staff is friendly, room was clean. The general area outside the hotel is a bit sketchy.

No refrigerator or microwave, but the hotel was beautiful and clean and the beds comfortable! I would stay again!

The rooms were very clean, the service was excellent, and the breakfasts were delicious.

The rooms are great. There isn't a ton in the way of amenities, but that isn't what we needed. Also note, it isn't around any sights or attractions, but it is easy to navigate nearby.

It was comfortable enjoyable. Didn’t have to stress about cleanness. Had a wonderful stay as well the food is good !

Excellent room and location

Stay was ok , room had a weird smell to it, like if no one had been in there for a while. Bed was comfy. Wished it had a fridge though. Other than that it was a decent stay

Great spot for the Price. Very friendly staff

My favorite thing about this hotel is the location. Less than a minute to I5, it was convenient to get almost anywhere in the San Diego area. There is no refrigerator or microwave so plan accordingly. The breakfast was excellent but not included in my reservation.
