Booked on Expedia for qouted cost, but hotel charged nearly $75 more than Expedia when checking out. Note: Hotel did refund a partial amount of the overcharges.

Such an awesome place and experience. Loved this place

The peppery is well maintained. The room was perfectly cozy and charming. Great shower, quiet, good temp control and overall a pleasant stay. The hotel staff was easy to communicate with and always there if needed. Highly recommend!
-
Very kind staff, zero problems whatsoever with getting help with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bar was cozy and friendly. Everyone was receptive and always happy to help. Highly recommend, even if you are not staying specifically for an event in the music hall.
-
Friendly and helpful staff. They were very communicative and insightful about our stay, and the parking garage was very nice.
-
Genuinely one of the nicest and best located hotels I have stayed in, especially for fun and not just for work. Even the parking was super standout. Very pleasant experience.
-
Quirky hotel in great location. Has everything you need. Helpful staff and easy breakfast.
-
A small intimate old style building. We had everything we needed. The Innkeepers were very helpful and always available. The location is easy to access and super close to the music hall. There are stairs

While this was advertised as a hotel, it was more like a bed-and-breakfast since it really was an old home converted into a small hotel. I got multiple text messages before arrival about codes to put in to enter the hotel and about valet parking. It turned out that there was NO valet parking. I was given a garage door opener to access a parking garage about 1.5 blocks away which meant that I had to park my own car and walk back to the hotel before I went to my planned event. The following morning I had to walk back to the parking garage to get my car. Parking was $25. a night. The hotel is not handicapped accessible and lighting was very poor. I have some physical and visual limitations so this didn't work out well for me. This is just a warning to future visitors. It is still lovely and unique.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer! There were so many places to hang out both indoor and out. The room was cute. It was located close to lots of food options and activities. We had a great stay!
-
The entire property was unique every room was composer themed. It was very well maintained for the age and style of the property. There was live music at the bar when we arrived back at the hotel from an evening out. And of course you have chandeliers in a nice parking garage like that

Very nice hotel.

Beautifully decorated!

Overall place was cute. Staff was great. There was not a dresser in our room, and our room was out of shower gel. We were not informed that there was not a restaurant until after room was booked, we were even sent a menu from the former restaurant and then a disclaimer that it had closed Jan 1. This was very disappointing. The bar staff were amazing and and made up for most of my disappointment, Thanks Elle. I just expected A little more at that price point. This place has great potential to be a charmer with a little more TLC. I would love to come back after the restaurant re-opens and experience it then.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend the stay. The staff are fantastically accommodating, it's within walking distance to so many great places, and I'll be going back as soon as possible.

There wasn't enough light in the room or the bathroom. The only chair was a stool which was in the bathroom. We had to sit on the toilet to put our shoes on. A chair instead of a stool would have been preferable. The only thing I can say about the mattress on the bed was that it was horrible. Too soft, no support. Hard to even get out of. The location was perfect and parking was easy. We enjoyed the bar in the evening. The hotel was adorably decorated and cozy. Just needs a better mattress and more lights in the room and bathroom. We did tell them that one of the lights in the bathroom was out and they said they would fix it but never did.
-
The room was very charming and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The parking garage was nearby and easy to access. The area around the hotel was lovely with Washington Park just a block away and lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
-
I think that I was grossly over charged for $600.99 for two nights. Looking at the other few guests, they did not pay more than $150.09 per night. The breakfast was a joke. A lovely old hotel but the staff was surely not fitting with the decor. Tattoos Hippy like attitude come on are the Communists taking over culture next to Musik Hall. Surely they have Good luck and good night.
