Howard Johnson by Wyndham Clearwater / Dunedin

Had to get a hotel room at the last minute because of complications. Didn't use any of the amenities except for the breakfast. There were no vending machines so I had to go to the front desk to get sodas or anything. The selection was rather limited.

Complementary breakfast wasn’t all that.

It’s okay for the price... but it's not really like it is in the pictures. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable, but the pillows are not good. The breakfast is extremely poor... just plain bread, corn flakes, and waffles.

Nothing The toilet was broken and lady from front desk said to go outside and use the first floor bathroom. Mind you I was with my two girls.

The property was clean and the owner was nice We had reserved two nights through Booking but not had paid yet We were only able to stay one night, the owner said booking would not allow a refund for the second night I contacted Booking and they said they would refund but it was up to hotel owner So basically got the run around and paid for two nights although we only stayed one

The pool was nice, that's probably the only thing good I can report. We drove in from the airport for just one night. We are big Whyndam fans, but this was a huge disappointment. Out of the 6 lighting fixtures, only 3 worked. The shower was room temperature; never got anywhere near hot. The bed was hard, the pillows worn out. The room was clean, just very dated. Fortunately we only had to spend one night. We would not recommend for anyone.

Clean and employs are super friendly and make you feel welcomed

I stayed there only because I needed a bed and shower after working 12+ hours and going back to work in 6 hours. The bathroom door fell off the hinges. No electrical outlet covers. Old and barely hanging on. If it weren't so close and I didn't have to work 2 12 hour shifts in 30 hours I would've booked elsewhere.

Wanted to stay in a retro motel, except this motel was a bit neglected and would kind of cool if they cleaned up the old furniture they had piled up by the pool and some other room updates would great. They are missing the boat building back a cool retro motel.

Room was clean. Spotless nice sheets and towels. Water pressure in sink ws non-existent. Should have been a lower rate.

The room immediately smelled on cigarette smoke. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. However, the AC would make a super loud knocking noise everytime it switches off and on

Breakfast banquette needs more attention with supplied napkins instead the provided toilet paper roll.

Clean rooms. Great staff. Free breakfast. Nice pool. Decent price

The room was dirty when we checked in. The floors had dirt everywhere we didn’t wanna take our shoes off. The toilet had toilet paper in it as well as black hair. The shower had black hair as well. The beds had 2 pillows each and we were told we couldn’t get more because they were back ordered. The cleaning staff came in and changed the towels and made the beds but on the last night left the garbage from the bathroom on the counter. I also found a skateboard under one bed as well as bottle caps and trash. For a 1 day stay and there are no other rooms elsewhere, sure. But do not stay here. Front office staff was nice
