Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa

Not very clean, room was pretty run down for the amount charged per night. Thermostat did not work nor did the mini fridge.

Vaket parking is an additional 62.00. Resort fee 50.00. Tacked on extras to price of the room. Love the location but very expensive. Use to be much more affordable. We use to go 2/3 times a year. Can't afford it anymore. Priced out. Very sad. Love the hotel.

The receptionist was very welcoming, and showed a lot of hospitality and patience. The above and beyond offerings that were not included, and last minute, were very greatly appreciated.

Great staff, location, and room was clean and nice.

We were on Coronado Island to see our Navy Sailor off on her first deployment, finding a room that weekend was limited as all the other sailors families were arriving too, we were not offered any discounts and we paid full price for the weekend and so I was surprised that such an expensive room had so little amenities. The small fridge was slightly cold, there was no microwave, the room was supplied with shampoo conditioner and shower gel but it smelled like BO so we couldn't use them, the thermostat was not user friendly, the room was too hot or freezing cold. It would be better to advertise that view rooms were also above the area where outside weddings and conventions are hosted, we were not able to open our lanai door or sit on it during a very large wedding reception with loud music until after 11:00 pm and early the first morning there was a big convention breakfast being set up and served. I would not stay here again for the price we had to pay.

We arrived to our cottage after 9 pm to find the AC unit broken in the middle of the summer. We had to move rooms in the middle of the night with our two young children- 3 year old and 6 month old. I was not very happy or impressed.

My only complaint.. why would you be charged for parking when you are at a luxury resort… it’s just wrong‼️

The room had carpet stains. They said I would get my money back in 72 hours. I have not received

Rooms were clean Most of the staff were good except restaurant and bar very poor service when we got a drink at happy hour sitting outside we asked if we could move over to tables and were told that was for paying quest dining what the F++k were we at $450 a night and there were 4 people sitting there in an area that sat 30 lost all the rest of our dining business Lost internet in 7 day stay at least 20 times Gate to get out of parking lot worked 2 times the rest of the time we had to call for service TV never worked right never on the right channel and had to call service to watch more than 1 channel No bottle water had to go down to get 2 bottles $20.00 The pool area concession wasn't open all week Hot water took 2 min 40 seconds yes I timed it because it took so long Wanted to use the tub because I have a bad back but all that came out was rust Sorry but not up to the standards of a Marriott and it wasn't just up on 2 different occasions people on the elevators were also complaining will never stay there again

Excellent place to stay, I was great just staying at the resort

We were extremely pleased when we were given one of their cottage units. It was amazing. Clean, large, close to the water and simply peaceful and relaxing. Exactly what we needed. It was everything we expected and more. Could not have been more pleased with the overall experience. The 2 hour a day bike was a great addition included with the resort fee. We also took advantage of the jet skiing right adjacent to the hotel. I highly recommend staying here to anyone coming to the area.

Great location to stay and start off on our bikes for an early morning ride. They were very kind to allow us to bring our bikes in our room. Comfortable beds, beautiful pool, bay bridge and city view. Excellent restaurant and bar too!

When booking the bay view room, make sure there is no wedding or event tent blocking the view. We had to request a room change because the view was blocked. Rest, the room and views were great.

The air conditioning in the lobby, bar/restaurant and my room didn’t work! The door to my room was damaged, wouldn’t open / shut correctly. The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking. Somehow I was checked out a day early unbeknownst to me until I actually checked out.

Everything was excellent. I will definitely go back to this hotel.

Excellent/Family friendly place to stay. The resort has expenses such as paying to rent the basketball or pickleball court and to even park (valet or self park). So be aware of that. The only negative was that the hotel sits on the bay but there is no beach. You have to drive to Hotel Del Coronado for that. It's not a big deal (10 minute drive). There is a runway by the bay so you can run or walk it but it's not the same as having a beachside view. All in all, fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this one as part of the marriott family.

We stayed 5 nights at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa in one of their larger rooms with a sofa bed and had a lovely vacation. Their air conditioning had broke and we ended up having to pack everything up and move right before dinner. It was an inconvenience but they did provide us with the same room but newly renovated so it was an upgrade. They also provided us with a credit that was equal to the resort fee and accommodated us with a late check out. Therefore we were very happy with how they treated us given the inconvenience. Property is nice. There’s nothing right beside us but you’re about a 10 minute walk to the ferry landing. It’s nice and relaxing but you likely need a car to get around. The staff were are very lovely to deal with.

The place has amazing views of the Bay and City! It was great being able to take the summer shuttle, it stops across the street from the hotel. They charge a lot for resort fees, all we used is the Internet, it would be nice if you could choose what you wanted rather than being charged for all. The rooms were spacious and pretty clean, the carpet could use some cleaning. Overall, it was a great vacation and a beautiful place to stay. This was my second time staying here.
