Hampton Inn Daytona Speedway

The carpet was wet and disgusting. The ac unit made noises. I want my money back. I am just getting back from a cruise or I would have sent this earlier. I told the front desk and they couldn’t give me my money back. I want a full refund.

Clean room with a nice layout. Hotel is very close to the Daytona Speedway. Would stay here again.

The entire reason for the lower review is that the a/c unit in our room did not work properly and it seemed like the hotel was aware there was an issue with a/c units. The room was fine when we checked in the first night--cool/dry. We raised the thermostat to 70 before leaving (early) in the morning. Came back at dinner time and noticed the mirror was fogged. It was not cold, and seemed humid. Noticed the ceiling was bubbled, walls had condensation, and our clothes, bedsheets, etc. were all damp. Thermostat still read 70, but I could not get the A/C unit to kick on. Desk sent up maintenance, who took the unit front off and manually started the unit. Advised us to leave it at 64 and it would dry everything out, cool the room, work fine. Left again, came back around 10--room steamy again, thermostat showing the 64 degree setting. Requested to be moved to another room, which the hotel did do, pretty swiftly--we were packing up our things when the new keys arrived. New room was across the hall. We had to unpack everything to dry it all out. Usually Hampton Inn is a good bet for a quick/no-frills stay but I would not stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights on the last night turned light on to go to bathroom and there was roaches running. We bought a pack of pretzels from their little shop and they expired a month before. Very nice employees. Breakfast was really not worth eating. Overall we would not return or recommend.

Staff was helpful especially housekeeping. When I asked for an exchange of towels, the housekeepers could not have been more polite, pleasant and accommodating.

Our room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I don’t understand the $5.00 charge to park.

Convenient to i95 lots of food options close by tv was a pain in the ass

Overall good experience, good breakfast The rooms were overall good however i found that some part of the toilets were cleaned thoroughly over time. The same applies to the carpets in the room as well

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean but humid. Building was dated.

The front desk were so accommodating, I arrived at 3am in the morning and let me stay late to 12pm.

Breakfast was great, staff was polite and professional, the establishment was very clean. The jacuzzi could’ve been warmer. It was the same temperature as the pool.

There were some disappointments during this stay including the beds were really stiff, ring around the tub no clean towels for day two and when walking service dog the door was free to go out but couldn’t get back in when it was raining. I had my keycard and the lock maintenance should have been completed by this date. Will think twice about staying here during our next travel.
