Cozy Rest Motel

Great Place !

The Cozy Rest was a place to stay. Nothing more, nothing less. I will say, however, it looked like they were in the process of renovating the property, so that's a plus. That said, it still gives "rendezvous point to buy drugs" vibes.

Place looks like a fleabag motel but the staff are super nice and friendly.

Great

Above-average budget motel. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice-looking. Staff was friendly and helpful.

2$ for a can of soda

Exceptional

Was marked a no smoking room but definitely smelled musty like old smoke smell.

Check in guy was nice but room was dark & only 1 towel in room. I asked for additional towels but younger guy did not speak any English so I had to go back to lobby for assistance. Room was loud next to a busy road & the big TV was almost useless. Stay otherwise decent but outside property need much needed updates.

Good

Great price and clean Nothing

This place was kind of rough: not super clean, bed covers had what looked to be old cigarette burns, and it looks like they started to remodel the bathroom then ran out of funds to remodel the bedroom. It was fine for one night, but I probably would not stay there again.

Check-in was difficult due to attendant could not speak English. When finally able to get into room, upon entering was horrific smell of smoke. Inspecting the room and found it was absolutely filthy, afraid to put out luggage down on anything. There were several people outside on the balcony yelling at people in a car below, did not feel safe here. Returned to speak to attendant which was terrible to communicate with. So we removed our luggage, informed attendant we are not staying here, returned our key cards and went to another hotel.

I would not recommend staying here. The pictures shown on Expedia do not match the room we were given at all. As soon as we opened the door, the room smelled strongly of smoke and marijuana. Everything felt damp—the carpet, drapes, bedding, towels, and shower curtain. We figured it would be good enough just to sleep for a couple of hours, but things got worse. In the middle of the night, we woke up to cockroaches on the bathroom floor. When we packed up to leave, larger cockroaches came running out from underneath the table after it was accidentally bumped. The condition of the room was completely unacceptable, and the advertising did not accurately represent what we experienced. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to stay somewhere else. It will be worth it.

Awesome staff clean property

Room although dated, appeared clean. Both wife and I slept well. Earlier concern with nearby street noise didn't occur, especially with AC and fan running. Some litter on parking lot.

Very good

Basic room was clean and staff was friendly.

There was roaches in the room. The walls had paint coming off, and dents all over. Terrible experience trying to get into parking lot. Should have cost $30
