Affordable but away from downtown a bit. Hair was on the walls of the shower. The air conditioner stunk like mold. The front desk was great. The restaurant was great for breakfast.

The room at Quality In (Room138, Detroit Downtown, stayed on Oct 21 night) looked clean but the electric connections were not working. The staff had to be called twice at night 10 pm to fix it as the fridge, microwave and TV were not working. I couldn’t warm my coffee and dinner item. They fixed by redoing it but after calling them 3 times and hearing that they are sorry. Only one receptionist was doing everything. They offered to change my room but it was at 2nd floor. I refused as there was no elevator and I was too tired to carry my bags upstairs. The receptionist offered to help but next morning would have been difficult. Water in the bathroom sink never went through. It got collected and I couldn’t use it after the first round of using it. Staff was carrying but they are getting challenged. I saw some rooms empty downstairs but I was told they were closed for repairs. Property is not maintained well. I am sharing the washroom basin photo.

Just like all other lower quality motels, baisic

Room was clean, but the location, exterior of property was not great. Very noisy, obnoxious guests or employees yelling outside of rooms, early am and late night, as well as vehicle stereos blasting in parking area. Place didnt feel safe, shady folks lingering outside rooms. Breakfast was lacking. Overpriced hotel.

Tv wasn’t working, maintenance was called but they never returned the front desks call to come and fix or look at it, one of the beds was heavily indented in the middle, room phone didn’t work,

El lugar estaba limpio, solo que la carpeta ya esta vieja y huele a polvo para carpeta con aromatizante revuelto con la humedad o lo sucio de la carpeta
-
The water is the shower was barely a trickle. Was a no smoking room but smelt like cigarettes
-
Clean rooms , close to all amenities! The staff are helpful and friendly. The building needs renovation but I just need a place to stay for the night !

After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried….. The room was small but it was clean and had enough towels/wash cloths for the 4 of us. Parking was free and right off of Jefferson. Tough to get a good night sleep though with the constant sirens and hot rods screaming up and down Jefferson Ave.

Clean room everything works Breakfast very good
-
Near downtown, hotel room was 250$ (Detroit Marathon weekend) completely overpriced for this hotel.
-
The bedding appear to be made of nylon instead of cotton. I could not sleep well with skin covered by sheets of nylon. The location is good.

After traveling all day and arriving at 1045 pm I was told my room was dirty and not available and they had an issue with housekeeping. Was told my room would be “cleaned next and ready in 20 minutes ”. The room was never cleaned and I had to book elsewhere. Now I’m fighting to get my refund. Absolutely the worse and was not the only one waiting for a room. Give me my refund.

It was absolutely terrible. I was there for less than an hour and knew there was no way we could stay. My uber driver warned us that this is where many “night activities” take place. Not a place for families. The curtains on the windows were broken, allowing anyone to see in. There looked to be vomit on the floor upon arrival, upon other things, goldfish, crackers, gum stains and more. I refused to step on that floor. Our bedsheets had stains on them, and a few cigarette holes seemingly. The bathroom was disgusting, and I had to wipe down the toilet to use it. Staff refused to offer us another room, or a refund back. The pictures DO NOT!!! Look anything like the hotel. Absolutely do not stay here. Way overpriced for absolutely nothing. We got a hotel down the street for the same price, and it was significantly better.

The rooms are too small and crampy. The bed was lumpy. It was so hard to get a good rest. It was nothing like the pictures showed
-
The room was poorly maintained. The shower water is coming out slowly. I requested for non smoking room but the room I got smells like somebody just finished smoking. But the receptionist was nice to cover the my poor review for the room.
-
The hot water didn’t work in my room but overall my stay was decent byotv or fire stick lol
-
Front desk clerk said room number out loud while other were in the lobby & as a solo traveler that is very dangerous
-
Everything went well as for ease of transaction, interaction with staff and usefulness cleanliness, but size of rooms and location wasnt what expected but it still worked.
-
Deanna (I think that was her name) front desk lady, was sweet. She was working by herself and went above and beyond in a very stressful situation with difficult guests
