Great location. Would be nice to have a chair or two for sitting in the room.

-
Love the room! What a unique experience I will be back!
-
So there’s no front desk or anywhere to ask someone something but other than that it is a very cool unique place and the bar is so fun
-
What a great stay! The location and building were perfect.
-
Room was a big closet! No chair no seat, sit on toilet or the bed that's it. No windows at all

Really cool conversion of the first city hall of Duluth into a boutique hotel. Our room was on the "first" floor (really the basement) without any windows, which was a little freaky at first. It was so quiet, we felt we were the only people in the building, even though there were several lounges/bars. We parked in the secure parking ramp across the street, which meant we were walking by a number of unhoused people with all of our luggage. There are NO actual staff on the premises, but the many texts that we received were sufficient in terms of checking in/out, and gaining access to the building and our rooms.

Great location. Cool, historical. Lovely rooms, vaulted ceilings, Super cool place in the basement called the Rathskellar. Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at the Oliver Inn. Our room met our needs for my husband and I. There is no staff on site, checking in and out was done remotely through given door codes. We prefer black out curtains for sleeping, and the street lights could be seen through our windows, but other than that issue, we enjoyed the space. There is a Casino across the street, we did not experience any loud noise other than cars driving by at night. There are coffee shops and restaurants that are easily walkable. There is paid parking that is easy to set up.

Room was unique, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely stay here again, it is well suited for a couples getaway. We were able to park on the street to unload our car then cross the street to park in the parking ramp. It felt safe overall, there are some unhoused individuals on the street depending on the time of day. A quick walk to Canal Park.

Charming hotel in an historic City Hall building. Big, well
-
Room 11 had a room door that apparently was warped resulting in the deadbolt lock unable to open or close properly. After 3 tries the digital lock would not be useable for 5 minutes. This was frustrating and time consuming. Highway noise was noticeable. Parking was also an issue. Location was very walkable to restaurants.
-
Highly recommend the grand chamber suite! The bold decor is what really made this place special. Sad we didn’t make it down to rathskellers! Next time!
-
super unique place to stay for a quick getaway! Room was fresh and clean, love the speakeasy in the basement, too!
-
Loved staying here , close too everything , clean with lots of historical charm
-
The room was flightless. High ceilings, lots of windows, quirky design. Loved it
