I spent one night only in my room. I left behind my cane which I need to walk any distance. Called that afternoon. Susan at front desk said “no cane.” Could she please have someone check the room ? “No. “ I said I would drive back 40 minutes now but tomorrow it would be 90 minutes each way. “Call back tomorrow.” I asked if I could speak to a MGR. “No. No Mgr today. Call back tomorrow. “ Would Hilton like to buy me a new cane ? “Call back tomorrow. “

This Tru was disappointing compared to others. The room was supposed to be handicapped accessible but it was not. It was also so tiny that two of us and the wheelchair could barely move around. The coffee was bad and unlike any Tru I’ve ever stayed at, we had to pay for parking. Granted it was only $6 but it was surprising. The linens were very thin and didn’t fit well as they kept pulling off the bed. The staff was nice, however. I won’t stay at this one again and may not even do Tru again for a while.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Our room wasn't ready even though we arrived 4 hours after available check-in time, but they took care of us in a timely manner. Water pressure in the shower wasn't good, but I haven't been to any hotel in the past few years that has had a decent shower. Paying for parking on top of the hotel rate is ridiculous.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Shower was amazing, felt really good with the perfect water pressure. Second time staying at this hotel and will definitely stay again when in the area.

My stay at the Tru Hotel was great. The hotel room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The food selections were somewhat limited, but what was provided was tasty. I was somewhat put off by the daily parking fee, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who needed a pleasant stay in the Chapel Hill area.

Great location. Friendly staff.

Very nice and new. Our room was very nice but kind of small. Not a lot of room to spread out.

Hotel was fine, but my truck was broken into along with 60-80 others around Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Parking lot needs security and better cameras. All amenities were well thought out and comfortable. Lityle noisy on the road side. Airconditioning was a bit fiddly to manage.
-
It was very average The casualness of the staff Nothing special at all

Well kept, great area, nice employees

Staff were great and helped me with a bunch of things. Very polite and supportive. Great stay. Second time staying here in the last few years and both visits were great.

Customer service sucked. They wouldn’t listen and kept saying I didn’t have reservations even when I showed them the confirmation numerous times. They told me to wait to the side while they helped others instead of helping me. When I started I was just going to cancel bc of refusal to help and being rude. She stated she wasn’t being rude and there were cameras recording it. Almost like she was playing a race card with me. In all reality I just felt like she didn’t want to help and blame me bc I went through a third party. I want money back bc it was an awful experience. At least half of it bc I had to go find another hotel last minute.

I really enjoyed the simplicity and the minimalist approach of this Hilton brand. The Tru by Hilton brand really has all you need for a quick turnaround stay (i.e., college tours), and we love the no-carpet feature in the rooms. Our accommodations were exactly what we needed. The room was clean and provided plenty of towels. ;)
