Extended Stay America Suites Edison Raritan Center

This is the second time I stayed here and from my last experience I knew I had to ask for a coffee pot... Seems they don't put them in the room. One word: CHEAP !!!! I asked and they gave me one to take to the room with 2 (apologized he didn't have anymore) Taster's Choice instant decaf? Next morning realized there was NO cups, etc in room (This is supposed to be a "suite", has cabinets, and stove, microwave fridge, etc). No hair dryer (good thing I bring my own). The bathroom is so small, when you open the door (it opens inward), you have to squeeze between the door and toilet to enter. My wife is semi-disabled, (uses a cane to walk on rough surfaces, and has a Disable Placard for the car). Possible violation of the ADA, as the shower/tub has NO hand rails to enter or exit. Hope they have good lawyers. Skip Grab and GO breakfast. Jus GO.

For a quick overnight trip, it met all of my needs no complaint just a little outdated but overall it was good. The staff was nice in the room was clean.

La opción que brindan de cocina es muy ventajosa para las personas que no estamos habituadas a restaurantes de comida rápida o de otros gustos diferentes. Por lo anterior, deberían de preocuparse que todos los artículos de la cocina funcionen correctamente y brindar a los huespedes todos los utencilios necesarios para cocinar. En este hote nos dieron solo dos platos, un sarten, una tasa y cuchillos de plástico, Si no renuevan las instalaciones y mejoran las condiciones de la cocina, no es útil pagar por este tipo de hotel. Especial reconocimiento a Yusef de la recepción, muy amable.

Clean and has a kitchenette for you to cook. I booked late. however, the front desk closed and couldn't pricess my check in. Just made a copy of my card to process in the morning.

The microwave didn’t work and wasn’t replaced until the end of the next day and I was about to check out. Some of the staff was very rude, the key masking machine was out of order for 5 days and staff had to let you in your own rooms. No compensation was refunded it was very frustrating and inconvenient. The facilities to wash clothes was not clean and although it was noted that the front desk had quarters when asked at the front desk no quarters were available. The facility allowed dogs however the staff allowed guest’s dogs to disturb other guests all times of the day and night with excessive barking which was very annoying. The hotel needs to be updated with new facilities. Needs more staff the line daily was out there door because one staff was at the desk and the other’s were on their phones in the break room. No kitchen supplies were in the rooms (utensils, pots, etc. Some of the staff including the manager’s NEED MORE TRAINING ESPECIALLY WHERE IT PERTAINS TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Overall the best thing was the location it’s close to all major highways, 4 out of 10.

I like the cleanliness of the rooms and the ease of getting the bus into Perth Amoy to get the train to New York Get the 813 Bus from the road opposite the Sheriton hotel across the road It was all good

Superb

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels were rather small and low quality, and only one small bottle of shampoo was provided for two people staying two nights. A couple of complimentary bottles of water on arrival would also have been appreciated. Breakfast was quite basic, with mediocre coffee and an overly sweet breakfast bar. On the positive side, the staff were polite, parking was free, and overall the price was reasonable for what was offered.

It’s not top of the tear, but it’s a good stay for a day or two

It was ok for just an overnight stay. There’s a full sized refrigerator with ice cube trays. If you want to make your own ice have your own water bottle available and time for it to make. The tap water doesn’t taste so good. Very quiet.

Property is in a bad shape. It smelled really bad everywhere. Room was dirty. Some lights did not work. We were there just for a night and avoided taking a shower or brushing our teeth because everything looked so dirty. We left next morning as soon as we could. Would stay away from extended stay properties in the future.

Bedbugs a lot room 332 I have all my body bites bedbugs I m sick about this I can work I have stink bug bites You scratch all over my body.

Location to main highways. It could not get much easier to get from NJT, and 287.

Very nice, have stayed here many times and long stays. The staff is amazing, very friendly, and accomodating, rooms are clean. Its quiet, peaceful, close to most things around & thruways. Guests are all very courteous. Would highly recommend.
