The Ashbrooke

Extremely disappointed. New ownership and certainly not up to previous status. Have been coming to Ashbrooke and will not return. So disappointed. Former client

The only drawback to our stay was the very noisy HVAC wall unit.. you didn’t need a sound machine for sure. Actually our last night I turned it off since it rattled way too loud for us…not typical for such a nice lodge. I didn’t complain to onsite staff but maybe we should have… it could be that the unit is in need of repair… otherwise the lodging was good..

This is an excellent hotel for couples. Very clean and well maintained with a central location in Door County.

We enjoyed out stay

Our stay at the Ashbrook was great! From the cleanliness of the room to the very nice staff. Our room was very, very clean and very well-maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful.The location was awesome. We were able to walk to dinner and shopping. It was nice that there were muffins and coffee in the office every morning to get the day started. I would have liked it if the toiletries were in larger bottles, the ones that were there were small and rather difficult to get shampoo and conditioner out of them. The only other thing I would’ve liked to see changed is a little bit softer of a mattress. But we did love our stay there and we will stay again.!

Rooms were spacious, hotel was quiet. Even simple continental breakfast was better than expected.

Clean and spacious room…housekeeping one day out of 3…rooms quiet… hot tub was great! Wonderful to have muffins, coffee and yogurt available for breakfast…very friendly front desk staff…

This was our first time here and we will be back for sure! Staff was always friendly and helpful. Room was clean and lovely. The pool area was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and sat by the fire on the deck almost every night. The location was perfect and since its located just beyond town it was very quiet. I don't have a bad thing to say. Our stay here was absolutely wonderful!

We loved the hot tub and pool. The hotel has the best scent when you walk in. Great location.

Nice stay

Such a nice property! It fits right in with the Door County vibe and is conveniently located near food and activities. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast—they only offer coffee, juice, and pre-packaged muffins. In my opinion, that’s a miss, especially considering the per night price.

Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. A great spot to stay and unwind while visiting natural attractions and creating art in Door County. Wonderful swimming pool and deck/patio area.

The hotel itself is quite nice. The pool $ hot tub was well maintained and the outdoor fire pit was a great way to relax in the evening. The grounds were well maintained . The only downside was our room itself. It was constantly damp the entire time we stayed there and the room had a musty smell that A/C couldn’t get rid of. So The Ashbrooke is a nice place but avoid room 104.
