Near to the mall, free transportation from / to airport Unfortunately, the biggest problem with our stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Airport was the attitude and level of customer service from the staff. With only a very few exceptions, the employees we interacted with were extremely rude, unfriendly, and seemingly unwilling to assist guests. Whenever we asked for information or requested a service, the response was often abrupt, dismissive, or delivered with an unnecessarily hostile attitude. Instead of feeling welcomed as hotel guests, we frequently felt as though we were bothering the staff simply by asking for assistance. The situation was particularly noticeable at the front desk, where several employees appeared to have little patience or interest in helping guests. Unfortunately, we experienced similar behavior from members of the breakfast staff as well. There was very little warmth, courtesy, or genuine hospitality. A hotel can have a beautiful property and good facilities, but hospitality ultimately depends on how guests are treated. The impression we got was that many employees were simply there to complete their shifts rather than to provide a positive experience for the people staying at the hotel.

Public areas dirty. Room needs a lot of work, needs renovation. Shower amenities empty.

Nice location. Always love an embassy suites.

Room was clean. The sofa bed was already pulled out which was not necessary. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. View from the 8th floor was great. Location was walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Was able to get to New York in about 30 minutes or less. Hotel restaurant was only ok. Went there for dinner 3 times. 1st time was good. Food was good wait time was ok. 2nd time we went they closed early. Not sure what the problem was. 3rd time was the worse. It took an hour maybe longer to get my food and my bill to go. Saw other people come and waited to be seated but nobody came for at least 10 minutes so they left. Some of my food was cold by the time I got to eat it. I would have ate breakfast if I knew it was complimentary. I didn't receive a welcome bag that other Hilton hotels give you and I am an honors member. The weather was horrible that weekend with the noreastern. If the weather was better I think I would have enjoyed my stay a little better.

The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable.

The fact that it’s a suit, bedroom and living room Cleanliness

Good location next to Outlets and Newark airport. Spacious suites, well cleaned, private parking. Comfortable beds. Airport shuttle 24/7. Breakfast is on the sweet side, with limited choices. If you arrive towards breakfast end, kitchen is closing… Reception is also hit and miss: sometimes you get one information, sometimes another, depending on who is on duty.. Not really possible to have a late checkout since the hotel is apparently always fully booked. Late Checkout at 13.00 was offered for 75 USD.

We had a very disappointing experience with the suite we were given. Unfortunately, the room was not well-maintained and appeared extremely old and neglected. The wallpaper was peeling, the bedding was very worn, and the room did not appear to have been properly cleaned before our arrival. Overall, the condition of the suite was unacceptable and far below what we expected. It was a terrible experience and significantly affected our stay.

It was a lovely hotel and the staff was great.
-
Manager happy hour and ordered food were great. And getting a made to.order omelet in the morning was great. As well as all of the breakfast items. Fresh. Not like some places that everything tastes frozen.
-
Nothing The reception was mean she wasnt nice talking to me real disrespectful.. the pool was out of service thats the main point I came there
-
The proximity to the New Jersey airport. The front desk clerk was awful. Very Snappy and not a pleasant look at all. I am a rewards member and I had to call down and ask for my welcome bag. Which they didn’t have. No fresh towels offered on the next day.

While it had breakfast, it was adequate at best. The shuttle pickup at the airport is challenging to find, but the return is directly to your desired terminal.
