Spark by Hilton Dayton Fairborn

The stay was underwhelming to say the least. There is a hotel right across the street that costs less and the hotels are twins.

The hotel itself is ok, the rooms are small and so are the common areas. They're fairly clean and somewhat newly updated. The breakfast is lame compared to other Hilton hotels, it's just some basic bagels. Staff we encountered were in a bad mood and not helpful at all. If we stayed in the area again I would pay the extra to stay at the Tru next time, I'd honestly never stay at another Spark hotel

Hotel room and public areas were clean and staff was helpful. Great location if you need to get to the Nutter Center but don't want to drive from your hotel. Only downside is that this hotel was a bit minimal on extra amenities. Lobby had coffee and microwave available

Clean, convenient, friendly staff nothing

There was a poor rather unusual smell coming into the room, from the outside. It probably was lingering for a couple of days

There were some problems checking in at 3:00 a.m. which took the property from five stars. But Hilton resolved the financial mis-step in record time, without me even having to call, & the morning staff was bright, cheerful and on point. The facility was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. although I only showed up to sleep, showered and left. I will be looking at Spark hotels for my “go to” work accommodations.

It was a very unclean and very not kept up with maintained , and only had coffee in lobby , and only one ice machine for the whole hotel , would not recommend

We booked to stay Thursday through Sunday. We were only given one card key and staff said that’s all they could give out. I later received a text stating I could download the app to open our room if needed. Upon entering our room we found 2 bath, 2 hand towels and 4 washcloths. There was a partial roll of toilet tissue and 1 new roll. We constantly had to run to the front desk for new towels and toilet paper. And we felt stuck having to bring our phone everywhere playing tag team to see where the key would be since we don’t trust an app to get in the room. What a pain. Room 209 window is right next to the on-ramp so every 5-10 minutes it sounds like you’re trying to sleep on a racetrack. The AC unit also kicks on very pound so it was impossible to sleep here. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great clean room. It was perfect for us after the Dave Chappelle concert

No microwave. Bed not comfortable. No bar or restaurant.

It was a decent price There was a large spider in the bathroom and had been there for awhile because it had molted and there was some other debris on the bathroom floor. Not the dirtiest place by far, but definitely hadn’t been checked for cleanliness before we came.

Our reservation was canceled with out our acknowledge and we had to stay somewhere else bc the property was bought out

The staff was friendly and helpful.

First time staying at a Spark. And it will be the last time. No hot breakfast and the adverstised "bagel bar" was a joke. This was nothing more than a continental breakfast. We ended up eating breakfast out each day. The pool was something I always look for when I book. They had one. It had a film along the top that you could see easily. Nobody ever went it. My son and I had been looking forward to the pool. We weren't going to risk being exposed to whatever that was.

Very clean, great customer service. the hot breakfast was a bit misleading. it would be helpful to have a chair in the rooms.

Hotel Is Currently Being Remodeled Did Not Make Me Aware Of That Not Very Clean When I Called Before Booking Bathrooms Was Dirty Pool Out Of Order was Sent Across The Lot For Breakfast And The Pool Elevator Out Of Order Called Before Book About Accepting Church Tax Exempt Letter Was Said They Would Be Able to Honor and Remove Just The State Tax Waited Until Check Out To Let Me Know They Was Not Going To Honor The Tax Letter
