all was good, but I'd prefer a "softer" light in the room. Seems like most bulbs were harsh bluish rather than a warm yellow (bathroom lights were preferred).

Location Breakfast

No pool. It was not advertised that the pool in closed for maintenance, since Aug. It was also not advertised that a $100 deposit was required at check in. Refundable in 5 to 10 days.

The hotel was in the midst of being updated. They also advertise a pool and the pool was closed. Not what was advertised, but the price was good.

Clean room, friendly staff. Very helpful, very nice people who cleaned the room and served breakfast. Breakfast area was kept clean. Loved the older woman who took care of it. Staff seems to get along with each other.

Beds are too high for my wife. She had trouble getting in and out of bed, but everything was very clean. Breakfast was typical for this sort of hotel.

I visited this location during construction. Indoor pool and everything was closed. Hot water in the room did not work well, and the bathroom had stray hairs. Air conditioner was extremely noisy. The room itself and the bed both appeared clean.

Room was fine, breakfast was fine, front desk staff was fine, but I had a poor interaction with a member of the cleaning staff. We were heading back to our room while a member of the cleaning staff was cleaning a room. They had their cleaning cart and trash cans in the hall which is normal, the problem is it was taking up the whole hall. As we approach, the cleaning person sees us and just continues what they are doing. No attempt to move the cart or trash cans to one side to allow guest to get through or nothing. We squeezed through the one foot gap, bumping their cart with bags as we went to our room. Was it a huge deal, no, but the lack of common courtesy was upsetting, especially for something I'd expect even a random person at a grocery store to recognize, let alone a service employee.

The pool was under construction and closed. This was not advertised in the booking. I asked housekeeping to change the bed linens but they were not.

There were only 4 cars in the parking lot when we arrived so we had our choice of parking places. Entire hotel is being renovated. Pool has been closed since 8/10 for renovations. A/C did not work in our room so they took us to two other rooms and the air didn’t work in those either. Ended up in original room and had to open window (4th floor) for fresh air. Unfortunately it was very noisy with window open. I asked for a manager, but there was no manager or maintenance working at that time. I truly would’ve left at that point, but we were rather tired from having just gone to a funeral prior to checking in. Found plastic pieces (fingernail?) on floor upon entry to the room. Morning coffee was brown water.
