Hotel Monte Vista

Room was neat and clean. Staff was very helpful with parking. We didn't realize it was Tequila Sunrise the night we stayed amd was very noisy. Other than that a great stay!!!

The room was dirty and both chairs provided were falling apart. The remote from the tv was missing and rain was coming in around the window ac. Moldy tile in the shower and the sink leaked. The curtains and bedspreads were stained and I found a pile of items under the dresser, including someone’s wallet, makeup items, and fake fingernails. Gross! No refrigerator or microwave. No headboards, so the pillows slip behind the bed during the night. Staff members seemed unhappy and unhelpful.

As always, this property never disappoints! Best place to stay in Flagstaff!

Stayed on a Friday night. The room we were put in was right above the bar/club. The music was deafeningly loud in the bedroom until 1 or 2 am. Walls and floors were shaking. We were not informed this room would be loud when booking. Be warned.

Great location in downtown Flagstaff, very walkable. Interesting historic hotel with cool cocktail bar on the first floor. Limited amenities (no fridge, microwave or coffee machine) as expected with a historic hotel. Note that as the hotel is above a bar and downtown it can be a bit loud at night.

The Boise at night was TERRIBLE! Lasted until1:00 am.

Lovely, interesting old hotel. Super fun! Wish I was staying longer than one night. Very convenient to Humphrey for a good nights sleep and an early morning hike.

Classic old hotel. If you are into an old time feel and experience this is your place. Comfortable and cozy but lots of street noise. If rest is the most important part of the stay this is not for you. More of a stay for one that likes a cool late night street vibe.

I mean it was a fairly inexpensive hotel in Flagstaff from the 20s. Heat was a little finicky to work, AC was a roll around unit, small toilets, bad paint job in the room. Staff was great, hotel just lacks newer features. Downstairs bar was cool. They told us not to leave because they dont have enough parking for a full hotel, and might not have a spit available when we came back. Only reason you would stay hear is for the location, history, and possibly the price.

Dated but not historical. I get that it is historical but make it look like that. It’s a weird mix of historical and modern features. The walls and floors are beaten down.

I enjoyed staying in a 100+ hotel for the experience. It was about what I expected. The only issue was that there was a corner bar in the hotel that was open until 2:00 am that was very loud and disturbing for rooms on the second floor just above the bar. A stay once is enough.

The room had a welcoming feel to it, and was clean and well kept. I particularly liked the antique pieces of furniture vs. the usual standard furnishings used in other hotels. Staff were courteous and helpful when assistance was required.

The property was nice and clean. The staff was awesome. The only recommendation would be to upgrade the bed.

This is an older property in downtown Flagstaff. Plentiful shopping and restraunts are well within walking distance. Many historic places are close. Because the location is downtown, street noise may affect your sleep. We wanted to change rooms after the first night, but because the booking was made through Expedia, rather than directly through the hotel, we would have incurred a fee. Fees outweigh patron comfort.

Stayed here over our wedding weekend! Loved the night life right on the first floor. Can’t beat it! Thank you for a memorable experience!

Dirty. Drains clogged with hair. Trash under the bed. Noisy. Run down. The owners either can’t afford to run the place right, or don’t care. Expensive parking for what you get in the hotel. I’ve stayed in historic hotels before and found them to be just fine - but not this one. Would never recommend.

The hotel is very cool! A cool experience staying there. Parking was easy, staff were great, and the room was clean. We were very fascinated when we got there and read up on the history of the place. If you love an old vintage place with a cool history and a little spook, we highly recommend staying here.
