Courtyard by Marriott Oceanside Fort Lauderdale Beach

Location Room description was not what we were given. The description stated two windows with Harbor view. We got a parking lot view.

First of all , they raised the parking to $60.00 per night . The reason they stated was they out source the parking . So what that is just staff you still park on property .. You welcome drinks and food credits are limited some time the bar is open not always if it is slow. When you add back parking and resort fee's ECT.. This place is not the bargain it appears to be

Beautiful property right in the heart of everything. Shops, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Enjoyed our stay!

Loved the location, value and cleanliness. AC was a bit loud and not cold enough for my taste was the only drawback.

Terrible

Location is absolutely perfect! Everything in walking distance, right across the street from beach, walkable distance from water taxi, no car needed. Property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job and grounds maintenance were scrubbing everything constantly felt like could walk bare footed everywhere. Pool was nice and clean and towels provided for beach and pool. Outside sitting areas were very nice and bar had an amazing ocean view. Things to improve on- Rooms need microwave! We had left overs from dinner few times and not having a microwave to heat it up was very disappointing. Restaurant was a big disappointment…the food was really not worth the price. Our medium burger was passed well done. Caesar salad had brown pieces of lettuce in it and was served with powdered Parmesan. Cheese. You have to stay In line to order at the counter and sometimes that ended up In lengthy process! Having one person taking orders, being barista and dealing with payments really is not officiant. Highly recommend to create QR code at tables so people can put in the orders themselves. Will make things a lot faster and smoother with same amount of staff. We were served Sutter Home wine at the bar for 17$ a glass…I would not use that wine for anything other than cooking…big disappointment! Please invest in some decent wine! Overall we loved our stay and found lots of great places to enjoy food and drinks near by.

We loved everything about the stay! Clean rooms and all of the hotel was in nice condition. Multiple bars on site with decent food and a nice pool if you dont want to go to the beach. Great location and we will be back!

Was told we had credit for the bar but didn't say where the bar was and when we could use it. Host was ride and abrupt

It would have been

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and did not feel worth the price. The morning of our arrival, we were notified that the hotel pool was closed for repairs. They offered a “complimentary beach day kit,” which was essentially a water bottle and a small bag of chips, and told us to use another hotel’s pool down the street. This was not an equivalent alternative. Our room was also not ready by the 4 PM check-in time. We were told we would be notified when it was ready, but no one ever contacted us. I had to go to the front desk myself, where I was simply told, “Oh yeah, it’s ready.” Another guest told us their room wasn’t ready until 8 PM. We also had an unpleasant experience with a bartender. I asked her to open the handicap elevator for my grandmother, who uses a wheelchair, but instead of addressing my request, she immediately focused on the outside drink I had purchased saying that I didn’t buy it at her bar and that it wasn’t allowed . I also witnessed her refuse drinks to two hotel guests because she felt they had enough to drink. At checkout, we discovered a $35-per-day “destination fee.” We were told this covered things like welcome drinks and beach chairs, yet these were presented to us as included amenities, and we were specifically told the beach chairs were included. Overall, the poor communication, delayed check-in, closed pool, customer service, and unexpected fees made this stay very disappointing. For the price, I expected much better.
