I booked this hotel for a last minute road trip. We arrived received our room key and literally had to knock down our door to get in. We let from staff know and they said “do this and this” did not bother to go help and open the door. We stayed Friday- Sunday and they never went to clean the room. Not even to do the beds or provide fresh towels or toilet paper. There was only one toilet paper and it was used when we arrived. When we went to ask for more toilet paper there was no staff onsite so we called the number and they basically responded saying “what do you want” smh This place may be cheap but do not waste your time staying here. Not to mention the room def smelled like mold and the tv didn’t even work. Save your coins and book somewhere else!

The price and the location It was fairly small and outdated, but it was not a bad stay

Do not book at this place, there was a rat in our room, not a mouse A RAT !! There was also roaches and I know the place has only 2 stars, all we needed was that one night to embark our cruise, we paid for two rooms, but does not look at all anywhere near the pics on Expedia Worst experience ever, even comparing to one time my truck git broken into in SATX

Nothing The room was filthy, there was a layer of sand and dirt on the floor. The bed linens were dirty. The smoke detector was missing and there was a hole in the wall with wires hanging out, seems like a safety hazard. The entire property was rundown. We addressed these issues with the man at the front desk who didn’t care and just offered another room, which wasn’t any better. This place was definitely not worth $200 a night.

It would have been better had I not been awoken by something scratching loudly in the ceiling above the bed. My husband stood on the bed and banged on the ceiling..then it stopped. This is a 1 story so there wasn't anyone above us. I would sleep in my car before staying there again.

The front desk manager was very kind to me. I’ve stayed here a few times, and she made sure I got the room with a sea view. Loved that! The bed was so comfy! I parked in front of my room as I have several times before, was there all night and other cars on both sides of me. I heard a bang in between ocean time. The police were going to tow my vehicle because it wasn’t in between lines and stated over the sidewalk. Which isn’t true and I didn’t wanna argue. The front receptionist was nice enough to come over with the officer before they towed my car. Also, as before the cable was in and out and no Wi-Fi connection again. Which I was told last stay would be fixed this time. I’m glad I didn’t bring my work with me but couldn’t unwind to watch tv or stream anything on my phone. I was barely receiving text messages. I had to leave the property to get any. Including being on the beach. That’s unacceptable and unsafe.

No one was at the desk I rang the doorbell yelled out hello is anyone here? Nothing I had to go get my phone and by the time that happened my timeline was shut so I couldn’t even check in my chocolate I needed to keep in a climate controlled environment was ruined I didn’t end up staying there why would I when the reason I was getting a room was to keep the chocolate safe.

I really liked the location, right across from the beach. The breakfast is simple, with coffee and a few cakes. The cleanliness was the only thing I really didn’t like, as there was quite a bit of dirt under the bed.

Nothing At All. Absolutely unacceptable. This hotel was completely substandard and nowhere near the level you would expect from a property located in such a popular tourist destination. In fact, calling this a disappointing stay would be an understatement. The basic hotel amenities were a complete failure. The shower did not work properly and only supplied dangerously hot water, approximately 60°C (140°F). The hair dryer was not working, the Wi-Fi did not work, and the TV did not work. These aren't luxury requests—they are basic amenities that guests reasonably expect to function. The breakfast was another major disappointment. The quality was extremely poor and did not meet even basic expectations for a hotel breakfast. And then there was the staff. The staff were extremely unwelcoming, unprofessional, and showed very little understanding of basic customer service. There was no genuine hospitality, no sense of urgency, and no indication that guest satisfaction was a priority. What is most frustrating is that this hotel is located in a major tourist destination, where visitors should be able to expect a reasonable standard of accommodation and hospitality. Instead, the entire experience felt neglected and poorly managed. This hotel failed on the fundamentals: functioning facilities, basic comfort, quality breakfast, hospitality, and professional customer service. Management needs to take a serious look at how this property is being operated. A hotel should not be charging guests while providing such a poor overall experience. I would strongly advise travelers to think twice before booking this hotel. There are far better places to spend your money. This was an extremely disappointing stay, and I would not return.
