Belle Aire Motel - Downtown Convention Center - Gatlinburg

The bed was comfy and location good. There wasn't anyone at the hotel. A number was on the office door for us to get code to the door to check in. The room wasn't clean. Dirty Qtip swab was on The bathroom floor. The smoke detector was laying on the shelf. The safe was on the floor. Leaves all over the floor. The TV had sound but no picture . I called them about that and a man showed about 1 1/2 hrs later.No breakfast like it said was included. When I called and ask them if maybe we could get discount and they said that we could go to other location for breakfast which was about 10 miles. The water not warm . Couldn't take a shower. And the door wouldn't lock. We could lock from inside but you could just push it open from the outside. The ac unit was not working. It would go to 56 . Had to turn it up and it went to 84 and still climbing. Finally had to shut it off. They were a lot of people coming to rent a room but no one was there. We was charged 528.00 for the 2 nights. Which was way to high. But if room was worth it we wouldn't mind paying for it. The only reason we stayed was we live in FL and to far to drive back home.

Nothing. This is a terrible motel, and it should be condemned. It is not clean, not up to date, and there is no swimming pool, as shown. I would give them a negative rating if I could. Everything. I would never recommend anyone to stay here, unless maybe you're taking your one night stand prostitute, who doesn't care.

... There were ants in the bathroom. The shower would spray scolding hot water from one of the handles. The ac unit didn't work hardly.

The room we stayed in smelled so bad. As soon as we walked in it smelled like mildew. At first we looked an didnt see anything but when we went to take a shower there was black mold on the ceiling. We were going to get another room but noone had any. Definitely a ran down motel. Won't be staying there again. Oh an to add when I called to check out they really didnt seem to care. Their office was closed noone at the front desk you have to call in to check in. Worse place I've ever stayed at

I would definitely stay again. We'll worth the price. Nothing. Except it was hot in the room, when we arrived. Would have been nice to walk in, at least, a little cool. It was 80°,in our room.

I had mold in the bathroom all over the tub no one ever come and done anything I liked nothing

The room was clean and the size i needed. No hot water for shower. Had to call and check in once I arrived. I need people interaction. Toilet ran the whole time we was there

This property is awful Brie run down black mold in the bathroom dirt in the corners called and told them they told us to go to the other room beside us the lights did not work any it make pictures on and off the commode was running had s*** around the lid of the commode the floor was nasty there was dirt and don't know what it was in the side of the bed just made them give our money back and we went somewhere else I don't recommend anyone to stay there there's no one at the front desk when you call the number that's on the door he sends you to Days inn then you talk to someone there and they give you the code to get into the door but I wouldn't recommend you to stay there

Booked this motel room under the impression that there was a jacuzzi in the room. When I arrived to the lobby of the hotel there was absolutely no staff anywhere on the property, the door the the lobby was locked with a piece of paper stating that they are available to help if the lobby door was closed along with a number I called the number, a man answered but was being trained or something because he was also talking to a woman that was telling him was to say to me which made it difficult to hear him, got the info for my room and how to get in, I got to the room and to my surprise there was no jacuzzi, I then called back and and was informed that they do not have any jacuzzi rooms, even though it was listed on the amenities and showed in the pictures of the room! At this point I asked about a refund and was told that was not possible! Will be calling every single place I ever stay at to make sure it includes what they say from now on! The point of online booking is to avoid the wait on hold lines and I just ended up regretting it!

There was black mold in the bathroom ceiling and lights in the ceiling were out dirty walls out side the shrub wasn’t cut and the the mini fridge did not work in the bottom part

BEWARE!!! NEVER STAY HERE!!!! HEALTH HAZARD!!! The health department needs to shut this place DOWN! Right off the bat, no one was there to check us in! It’s all done over the phone 😑 This was the MOST disappointing and DISGUSTING place I’ve ever “tried” to stay at! We ended up leaving the first night…money wasted! We had to find another hotel…after trying to sleep in our car until 1am. 😡 There is visible mold all over the bathroom!!! The smell of the mold is unhealthy and unbearable! I could NOT breathe in the room! The floors were nasty! The shower was awful! There was so much moisture in the room that the bed felt wet!!! The microwave looks like it’s NEVER been cleaned! The ice bucket was dirty with NO ice bag in it! I work at a hotel and I’ve NEVER seen anything this bad before in my life!

So when ya get a cheap room ya get what ya pay for. It was close to the festival I was going to and only double the price of parking so for the price you get a good deal. The room was clean but smelt horrible humidity enveloped ya inside the room everything felt damp. They need to keep the AC on this time of year to prevent that Chair had a yucky stain on it, bathtub had a poorly patched hole on the bottom that when ya stepped near it would move. Fridge, tv and microwave worked and the stupid alarm clock went off at 5am. But I did leave early my second night when the event I was attending was over. Bed is old and pretty uncomfortable. This place is a budget place and expect nothing better. So if you are going to an event at the convention center and want to stay somewhere close and cheap and don't mind it being musty smelly and not well upkept then this place is for you. If you can afford a better room by all means get it. For those who just paid 400 bucks for an event at the convention center and don't want to spend more and get free parking then the Belle Aire is right up your Alley.

This motel is unclean and felt unsafe. This motel would benefit from a health department inspection. It felt more like a homeless shelter rehab than a motel. The stay the lobby was locked and unstaffed and room access is by phoning in for a room code to their work from home location. In the event of emergency there os no one on property to assist. Two more things… 1/ Shame on expedia for not requiring the property owner to notify renter in the post there is no onsite staff and therefore prepayment is required as they chrged my credit card rather than allowing me to apple pay in the lobby.
