SpringHill Suites by Marriott Greensboro

So bad that I sent the GM a list of items that were from inconveniences to having to buy a lamp from goodwill to be able to see as I put on makeup for my daughter’s wedding! We picked the facility because it was a Marriott and we were there for 13 days. Nothing close to Marriott’s standards.

Great location. Nice staff and rooms were clean.

I booked a suite, but was given a standard room. The room was nice and clean, so I went with it. Hotel breakfast was good and the staff was kind. Unfortunately the room beside us was extremely loud our last night, blasting music from 10pm-4am. The staff asked them to be quiet multiple times, but after 10 mins they would get loud again.

Everything was amazing pool was warm and cozy breakfast was absolutely amazing very clean would absolutely stay here again:)

My entire stay was great

I have never written a review but had to make note of this stay which was otherwise pleasant save for a large roach that was in the room just after we walked in. It was first seen by my 5 year old daughter who screamed. I was about to check out. The desk agent was kind enough to offer a room change but the hotel was fully booked, This was already after midnight and I family was travelling all day so we nonetheless stayed as we were told most hotels might be booked because of some tournament that was in town. Im not discrediting the entire property but such an oversight to the rooms cleanliness was very disappointing and still marred the trip for us.

The breakfast could of been better cooked

Elevator almost crushed my kids a few times. It almost got us stuck on it as well. At breakfast the syrup was sour, but the cook was so sweet Bathroom toilet paper roll holder was practically off the wall

Friendliness of staff. Noisy fan in bathroom and water from dispenser in gym tasted salty.

Comfortable and convenient

This hotel was great. Recent renovations included upgraded furniture and fixtures. Staff was very friendly and helpful . Convenient location to stores and mall. Will definitely stay there next time I’m in Greensboro.

Springhill Suites is always pleasant, no matter where we stay. Definitely my favorite hotel. Helpful staff, clean and modern rooms, and a decent continental breakfast.

Our fridge didn’t seem to work

The staff was wonderful and helpful but the pool was closed one day, tv malfunctioned, AC unit acted weird, breakfast was not good, the elevator was very small and the fire alarm went off both mornings of our stay.

My recent experience at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Greensboro was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. I selected this property because I expected the level of quality, cleanliness, and customer service associated with the Marriott brand. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below those expectations. Upon arrival, my companion and I were assigned our first room. As soon as we entered, it was immediately apparent that the room was not fit for occupancy. It appeared to be under active renovation, with paint buckets and protective floor coverings still in place. It was difficult to understand how a room in that condition could have been released to paying guests. This suggested a significant breakdown in the hotel’s room inspection and quality control procedures. We returned to the front desk to report the issue, and the front desk associate, Fernando, promptly assigned us another room. While I appreciate his professionalism and courtesy throughout the interaction, the second room presented an even more serious problem. Shortly after entering the replacement room, we discovered what appeared to be a large cockroach. I immediately photographed the insect because I wanted to document what we found. At that moment, any confidence I had in the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the property was completely lost. Very courteous staff and good room. Breakfast could be better. Please have plain eggs and give guest choice whether to add cheese on them. Cheese omelets were not good. Otherwise, nice hotel and good stay.
