Hotel was extremely clean and most of all it didn’t feel like we were staying away it felt really homey

I pre-paid for the room - but had a family emergency and tried to cancel for refund but the staff hung up on me

They are doing some renovations so a bit unsettled. I have stayed there before and found it pleasant but this trip was bad. The new beds are as hard as a rock. They are so thin and not the normal depth you would expect from a mattress. I will never stay there again

Room was really clean! The staff was attentive and amenities were great! Didn’t get to try breakfast but it was there if it was needed? Most importantly GREAT PRICE

The staff was very friendly, check in and out was a breeze but the cleanliness of our first room left us with a with an uneasy feeling of disgust. There was hair and stains on the sheets, and the room and wing had a foul odor- almost like urine. We were moved to another room instantly without hesitation which is why we decided to stay, the second room was a bit cleaner but there was chocolate on the floor and a cluster of ants which didn’t pose a threat but it made me question a lot of things concerning the overall cleanliness of the rest of the building. The free breakfast looked very questionable and unappealing so we ate a few minutes away, this location needs more than upgrading. The pictures were very deceiving, we won’t be staying there again.

This was our first time staying here since our plan was to spend the day in Jim Thorpe. The hotel is in the middle of a remodel/maintenance, so that was evident. Our room was clean and comfortable; staff was amazing and helpful; breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The condensor in the air conditioning unit was incredibly loud when it kicked on, so we woke up a couple of times. The only reason why I couldn't give it a "5" rating was because of the toilet paper (seriously). Scott 1-ply tissue just doesn't cut it, especially for a Comfort Inn. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay!

Room was absolutely terrible, such filthy smell everywhere and dampness. Bathroom was horrible. Broken tile, mold and dirt everywhere

There is a bar and a restaurant on premises. In addition there were 5 slot machines for additional entertainment. The breakfast was all you could ask for. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was very clean and everything was in the working condition. The furniture and light fixture were thoughtfully provided. The selections for the free breakfast were excellent and beyond our expectation in the nice cafe space inside of this hotel. There is plenty of free parking space (you don't need a reservation as Booking.com's confirmation stated). The location is very close to the I-81 exit near the State College Campus and there are many casual restaurants nearby. Although it's located off the divided road, two entrances helped us to avoid a U-turn. I cannot think of anything negative about this place.

The hotel was quiet and well kept! The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and so very pleasant. The hot breakfast in the morning was really good as well! Definitely would stay here again!
