Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Herndon

Could have used an English muffin prior to my early morning departure.

The room was very clean and comfortable The reception felt very tired.

Room keys not working. Staff had to escort guests to get access to rooms .

The shuttle vehicle itself wasn’t very professional. It had a taped on sign. I got on the wrong shuttle initially because I was confused by all the Marriotts!

Exceptional

Room was clean. The staff was courteous. I did not eat breakfast, but I did eat at the bistro and the food was good. I did not use parking because I had Uber.

Stayed here for my niece's wedding, arrived Friday morning, well ahead of "check in time" - 3pm. The receptionist said she'd have at least one of the two rooms ready within an hour (which she did) and the other she said would be available within an hour of 12pm, which would make that 1pm. Needless to say when I returned to the hotel at 2pm, the second room was still not ready and when asked if it would be ready by 3pm, I was told she couldn't be sure....if check in is at 3pm I would expect my room to be ready by at least 3pm, anything earlier would be a courtesy (which I appreciate), but to tell me that the room would possibly not be ready at 3pm was appalling. To add insult to injury, when I returned at approximately 4:30pm to check in to the second room, I was told they could not find me in the system...despite showing my confirmation number...which they eventually found. As you can imagine this was extremely frustrating. This property needs to get it together. The rooms were average at best, but there was clear water damage from the shower which rotted the wood on the bathroom door. And the staff isn't well train to understand how to treat their customers.

Had a very early flight at Dulles and this hotel is only 9 minutes from the terminal. Would definitely stay there again just for the convenience.

Check-in was a little troublesome. I originally booked my stay via Expedia, which proved difficult for the check-in clerk to find. This took several long minutes to resolve. An Expedia driven reservation should not have presented any issues.

OK for the price. Not much else to say. Merely adequate.

It could use a little updating, but overall good stay for overnight airport. The handicap room still has a step in tub, which could be limiting also the shuttle is not handicap accessible, but they did call a Lyft for us

Very good hotel. It is about a 10-minute walk to the metro rail which is what we need to go back and forth into DC area.

Great location, close to the airport. The shuttle was down at 12 AM and they scheduled a free of charge Lyft for me. Eveyrthing was great

Very nice airport hotel. Dining option inside of this hotel was very great. Clean room and great staff! Free parking is super nice option for travelers like us.
