It was our wedding night and we had never been to this particular hotel. The valet saw us in our wedding dress and suit and he immediately asked my husband and I had we been there before. When we told him no, he immediately showed us how to get to the lobby of the hotel which was on the 7th floor of the building. Not too long after we got to our room, a young man knocked on our door and said that the hotel was giving us 2 complimentary bottles of champagne to congratulate us on our wedding. was accommodating and friendly and the room was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely be rebooking with this hotel when we come back to Houston to visit

My stay at The Thompson Hotel was delightful! The staff definitely understood their assignments. My Manuka Honey Facial was incredible, and I discovered my new fav restaurant Chardon. I would absolutely do another staycation at this H-town gem.

Difficult review to leave. My impression was that the hotel had been used HARD during recent FIFA tournament and had not recovered. The valet team was excellent, pool space is amazing, reception was trying their best! However, our room was ready three hours late and we had to miss our dinner reservation. We requested a mini fridge for medication four times and finally gave up around 11pm and packed it in ice. The carpets in the reception lounge were embarrassingly filthy and I had to clean off a spot on the couch to sit. This beautifully designed hotel is too new to be this warn.

The use of the EOS FITNESS next door was a great option but after checking it out, found that the other EOS locations have better equipment. But Eleanor Tinsley Park with it's great walking paths was a wonderful experience each morning of the trip. The 1st night, it was fairly quiet but on Friday Saturday and Sunday night, it was much too noisy in the hallways after 11 pm.

Great location! Close to a large park to walk a dog or go for a run. Super clean area. Great restaurants in walking distance. Beautiful hotel. Cool rooftop pool.

I really enjoyed the overnight stay. The location was very convenient, and the on-site restaurant made our stay even better. Be sure to ask for Sierra at the Chardon on-site restaurant; she provided excellent customer service.
