The Independence

Loved this hotel. Right on the river. Cute down and not too far from Corvallis for an OSU football game. We will be back.

Great place great location great employees, nice food, menu, and bar and a great view. I will definitely stay there again. Next time I’m in the area for classes.

Because I only used this room to sleep in, I did not use any amenities. The room was very clean, the staff was super helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good

Loved the balcony with the view, the great walk-in shower and the comfortable king size bed. For a hotel with a restaurant, I expected the breakfast to be better, hot, freshly cooked, better options. But it was the same waffle machine and cool watery scrambled eggs as every humdrum roadside motel, with few options, especially for vegetarians.

Great hotel! Will stay again when I’m the area.

Great location Couldn’t access the hot tub at 8pm my main reason for booking there

Very clean, very comfy beds, the breakfast wasn’t great. After we checked in we were never acknowledged by the girl at the front desk when we would come and go, even though she never had a customer. But would definitely stay there again!

Love the cleanliness of the hotel overall. It was such a nice stay me and my family were very satisfied. Breakfast was great a lot of good selections.

Exceptional

Very welcoming, clean and quiet. I could actually sleep soundly because they didn’t have those noisy through the wall AC units.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. Our visit was ruined by the dismissive and distant behavior of the young lady working the desk when we checked in. No one else at the check in area at all and my wife and I just stood there feeling ignored by the person working the counter. She just stared at her computer screen. No “hello”. No “welcome, how can I help you”. I guess our appearance wasn’t up to normal customers.

Very clean and easy to access property with excellent location. Included breakfast was a little lacking.

The property was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. Especially the employees working the continental breakfast bar and the restaurant in the evening. The weather was beautiful while we were there but the rooftop didn't stay open for drinks. I picked this hotel because the room had a refrigerator and there was laundry on site. I recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

It was a nice Hotel. A bit pricey for us, but it was a birthday weekend so no problem. Food good - semi pricey. Adult beverages were good - not cheap. Great shower. TV had a nice picture. Odd, but the elevator was really slow.

Property was cleaned all around.

It was a beautiful room close to the river with wonderful views. Very relaxing.

We have stayed at This Independence every time we have visited. The hotel is modern and clean, breakfast is always on point and we love the location.
