Staff were just insanely rude. Refused to tell me whether the water in the rooms was drinkable (I think they wanted me to purchase water from their shop for $8.50 instead), and don't bother relying on the airport shuttle because despite the signs saying that it runs from 10am, sometimes it just doesn't run with no signage or prior warning. Rooms also smelled like fish, so that's fun.

Our room was spacious, clean, had two beds, a small fridge, microwave, a great air conditioner and it was quiet. The staff at reception, especially Trenya, were fantastic. There is a self serve shop in reception with a large range of cool drinks, snacks and heat up foods with a microwave. We were able to store our luggage in a storage room for only $5 per bag all day until we returned to go to the airport. They also have a shuttle to the airport that runs every hour on the hour at $5 per person. The advertisement on Booking.com didn’t mention it was a Motel 6 and I initially went to the Suites Hotel next to the one I booked. When I found out it was a Hotel 6 I was initially disappointed as my only previous experience with this brand in San Diego two years ago was a run down premises where my room smelled like mildew covered by bleach. I thought this was deceptive advertising BUT I was pleasantly surprised and loved our room and the hotel.

The Motel room was very loud - aircraft noise from LAX. This made it very difficult to sleep. Airport shuttle "available"- but not included in stay ($10 cost). Although close to LAX, noise and extra charges did not endear this Motel to me.

So it was only a overnight stay for a concert but I was very disappointed for the price I payed the room had nothing in the restroom no shampoos no conditioner no soap staff told me to go get it from desk n they didn't have nothing but hand soap so on top of that the room smelled like tobacco never again really needs an upgrade

This is a Motel 6 in an eight-story building with exception of the bed which is much more comfortable than Motel 6. I would stay here again

The property was in a really good location, close to fast food places both walking distance and driving distance as well. It looked pretty safe and the staff were friendly when we clocked in and out. Close to the beaches as well which was a plus. The only minor complaint I have is that the bedsheets smelled a little funny. I’m not sure if it was due to the humidity or the heat, but they looked clean, and I had no issues with the cleanliness of the room overall. It could have been the warm weather and humidity causing the smell in both the bedsheets and the room. Because of this, I had to keep the AC on most of the time. Other than that, it was a great place overall!

Clean Nothing

This hotel/motel is pretty basic. I will say that the staff is very friendly. The rooms are pretty basic, paper cups, loud ac units, no shampoo/conditioner, very small stick of soap. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. The freeway is loud all the time but drowned out a bit by the ac fan. The pool is right next to a very busy 6 lane blvd.

Staff were very welcoming upon entry. Immediately had great air conditioner in the lobby and my room. Room was clean, no smell or stains, water was running with nice pressure and no clogging as well as comfortable fresh sheets and pillows. Lastly, the parking lot was easy to get in and out of with using my room key. It felt very safe and my car was safe for all 2 nights I stayed.

Our last stay in Los Angeles at Studio 6 Suites was unfortunately not very comfortable. The bed was extremely hard, and you could actually feel the springs, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The room was also not as clean as expected and was quite dusty—we ended up wiping it down ourselves. We’re not looking for anything extravagant or fancy. After a long day of exploring, all we really wanted was a clean and comfortable place to rest and sleep at night. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those basic expectations. Hopefully, the hotel can improve the cleanliness and quality of the beds for future guests.
