Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville Airport

It was clean but the carpet was torn ant that catches the eye first! The night desk clerk went over and above to try to help find me a room with a standard toilet in it!! The toilets were so low and I had knee surgery on both knees and simply cannot bend that low!! She tried hard, unfortunately there was none!! Otherwise the place was fine for a short stay…although I will not stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay

Room smelled bad. Had 2 coach roaches in room. One baby and medium size. The gym smelled bad like musty. Our hallway smelled like weed. And Staff is just there. One staff member has friends hanging out back grilling by the pool and was smoking. Breakfast is terrible.

WiFi Socks

Required a $100 deposit. Killed roach running up the wall. Room was very small. Not much bigger than the bedroom in our travel trailer

Trash outside near the pool was overflowing. Power outages 4 times in one night due to their remodel, and my husband has a CPAP, so this caused us issues.

Needs upgraded

I give this an “okay” rating because it was so incredibly cheap and it included decent free breakfast. Rude staff, very worn furniture and fixtures, terribly strong air freshener smell in room, non-functional TV. Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, but wouldn’t choose his again.

The front desk receptionist gave my wife and me a wonderfully warm welcome. Check in was swift and efficient. The handicap room bathroom layout is one of the best seen. However, the shower water was not very hot (although the water from the sink was) and the handheld shower has a weak flow. Despite best efforts, shower water flowed out onto the bathroom floor. Longer shower curtains might help with that.

A very nice and reasonable place to stay and just five minutes from the airport.

It’s not worth the price at all

Staff were very welcoming.

Staff was extremely helpful and greeted me when I arrived. Helped me with my luggage and made sure I had a 1st floor room

There is a shuttle that runs when you need it. Staff are good and efficient and always at the desk. Rooms are clean and neat, and the price is good.

Everything was good, but the bed sunk into the middle.

My room had bugs so they gave me a new room. There was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. The hotel was old and needs updating

I believe there is a change in ownership, and the new owners are working hard to update the exterior and interior of the hotel. Room was a little musty. We liked the ability to park there, the shuttle to and from the airport. The shuttle driver was wonderful! For the price, it is a good deal.
