Historic Jacksonville Inn

It’s a very cool hotel located over a restaurant and bar in the middle of town. The location is great and my room was lovely. It was very clean. The empanadas in the bar were really tasty. A menu in the room, advertised a free dessert with dinner, however, the restaurant was not open. I did go to the bar and get my free glass of champagne, which was very nice.

The restaurant staff was fantastic. The food was way above average. I would settle for average food just to interact with the staff. I could eat there every day. The airconditioner could be easier to operate.

This was a great place to spend the weekend!

There was no breakfast offered. No human to speak with.

It was really great, location, room, clean, etc. That everything was something my phone.. no real person.. what it I didn’t have a phone?

History, amazing room, enormous copper tub, heat bed No elevator for my husband.

The convenience of the restaurant being there. Stairs, I don't do them very well.

Close to Britt Pavilion Check in procedure was less than clear

Consistency of knowing it would be a good Experience & wonderfull Staff & Prompt Resolve of any possible mishaps. Ty ? What we didn't like... got resolved quickly... toilet wouldn't flush, no service sign available, air conditioner was hard to understand... didn't know to aim hand-held at air-conditioner. Shower entry was slippry& water from shower all on bathroom floor.

Great renovation! Hotels have been obsessed with heavy down comforters for years and the hotels offer no alternative (a lightweight blanket, etc.?) that would be MUCH more comfortable. This is easily rectified if the hotel desires.
