Nice room no water pressure was told it was being fixed but was not by ckeckout

There was a known water issue at checked in. It was overheard that person consulting with front desk before me but no warning sirextlt about the situation. Overheard it was being worked on. In the morning no hot water and only drizzle of water with no pressure for the shower. At check out was informed it was fixed - too late for this unhappy traveler Location was beautiful. However this was not a experience id repeat at this hotel

Room was sub par, run down at best, the staff was less than helpful. We had a problem with the TV, I called the front desk and was told they would send maintenance, but they never showed up! The furniture in the room was old and run down. The beach view was great and the restaurant was good although some what pricey.

Everything was nice and clean and the quick trip was a highlight to our week! We will be back soon!

Location Dirty furniture with torn chair cover material. Air conditioner ran constantly but didn’t really cool much. Metal piece sticking out from the side of the bed frame that injured my wife’s leg.

The grounds were beautiful and the beach was just steps away. The pool has nice chairs, umbrellas and towel service. We loved the fact that there were 2 restaurants on the property. The staff was very pleasant and easy to work with. The rooms could use a “facelift”

The room had an odor like dog urine and I found a dog food nugget by the bed. The floors were so dirty if you walked barefoot in the room within minutes the bottom of your feet were very dirty. The mattress was so old that the foot of the bed and up the center had a huge dip in it. Everything in the room felt damp. I would definitely not recommend room 176. The 24 restaurant was very nice and the buffet breakfast was great.

Beautiful spacious location of the resort. Great pool and hot tub area with new patio furnishings. Spacious suite to spread out in. Linda at the 3rd floor coffee bar is wonderful. The new restaurant 24 is bright and pleasant, and the breakfast buffet has quality offerings / good food and nice staff. Front Desk staff are nice. But.... no towels in our room or in pool area for half of our stay. Dirty and rusting outdoor walkways & stairwells to our room. Appliances and utensils in the kitchenette area in our suite were old and there were no spoons. Pull-out sofa-bed was very lumpy, springy, old, and uncomfortable. Half of the bicycles for guest use are broken. There were 4 of us and not 4 working bicycles for us.

Overall, the outside property was beautiful with great Ocean views and quick access to the beach. Enjoyed the restaurant and the pool. Our room however was sub standard and everything about it needed updating and restoring. Our shower and tub had serious problems. The grounds were very good but the building needs a refresh or a renovation.

Mattress was comfortable. Free coffee was ok. Shower was filthy with mildew and shower pan looked like someone had been walking in it with their shoes. Front desk was told, after trying to be reached twice by phone and finally walking down to front desk to find her sitting in a golf cart and not even at her station, with the request to get the tv working and she did nothing. I cleaned it myself with brush and soft scrub, which didn’t remove the mildew. We went two days without tv. Upon checkout finally was able to discuss with Assistant Manager, Valerie who tried to make things right with refund of a couple nights and no “resort” fee. Had we dealt with her at check in, we might had better results. I appreciate her efforts but still can’t recommend staying here. If it gets cleaned up in the future….maybe. But it is NO resort…just a motel with outside access and free morning coffee.
