The rooms need a makeover for sure. They had an older receptionist there when I first arrived, she was overwhelmed with the school that was checking in (please have another person assist her, I felt bad for her and couldn’t even check in initially). Bed was very comfy, was able to watch Netflix/Youtube on TVs so that’s cool.

Super clean and quiet hotel. Will definitely stay there again if the need arises.

The staff was nice and the hotel being right off the highway was nice. The room was disgusting. There were stains on the sheets, the lampshades were horribly stained, and the shower floor had black stains. Just unbelievably gross. The TV has all the streaming channels but none of them worked.

This Fairfield Inn location off 9th St is sad and desolate. When we walked in, there was no one around. Had to clear throat to get someone to the desk. Asked if we should split charges at check in or at check out. Woman at desk said check out then asked when we would be checking out??? Ummm you can see my reservation since I’m checking in DUH. Our room had definitely seen better days years ago. Crack down one wall, dingy bedding and old carpet. Shower had huge crack in the tile and floor tiles popped as you walked. Shower knob was barely hanging on and made it difficult to adjust water temp. Day of checkout, staff knocked on door to see if we were checking out. Then blocked the elevator with their cart while tending to empty rooms. As we were walking down hall, guy shouted at me to ask if we were checking out. RUDE! Pool area was not very clean. Wet towels left everywhere as well as empty alcohol cans, wrappers, etc. Free breakfast wasn’t that great either. Toaster didn’t work. Breakfast meat was barely warm and eggs were watery.

The rooms were dirty. The floors were dirty mold everywhere in the bathroom. There was old rice in the nightstands, where the Bible was. I just didn't tell my wife and then there was the messy carpet and the a c did not work properly. The force of thirty multi one bathroom.

Rooms were clean, but tub drains really slow. The starwells need cleaning. The computer worked, but couldn't print.

The hotel is great, the staff gave me a treatment that made me feel at home, the property is very well maintained, it can definitely be repeated without problems

The computer system was down so they couldn’t provide us key cards which was irritating but not the end of the world. However the hotel was not in great condition, with carpets coming up, the gym out of order, and other facilities in poor repair.

It started out good, the woman that checked us in upon arrival was nice and helpful. She had us in a 1st floor room. We inquired about a room on another floor and she informed us the hotel was sold out due to a tournament. No problem, we understood. Our rooms carpeting was disgusting. When we walked on it in our bare feet it felt damp and dirty. After showering and walking across the carpet our feet were filthy.

The room we stayed in was clean. However the bathtub drain was so clogged you couldn't take a shower without the tub filling up. The bathroom vent fan is also falling out of the drywall ceiling. There is dead bugs in all the window sills in the stair wells. There is also plastic tacked to the wall with actual thumb tacks from water damage. The exercise room was closed down. There was also other guests who were complaining about how dirty the room they got was while I was checking in and they were refusing to stay as well.

Pam checked us in and was so friendly. When we saw her periodically throughout our stay she would acknowledge us. We had leftovers from going out to eat and being able to pick up silverware and napkins on our way to our room was convenient. Plenty of lighted parking. We will stay here again.

Strong smell of weed in hallway. Room curtains were very dirty, with visible dirt. Curtains over hang AC unit, so dirty curtains were flapping around, until we entered room and moved them. Work out room was closed. Staff was very friendly.

-
Very outdated and didn’t appear clean in rooms, especially the shower. Pool was not well maintained and the ceiling in the pool area was falling apart. Breakfast was ok. Complimentary water bottles provided. Would not stay again

It was close to a lot of shops, restaurants and West Michigan College. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean and well maintained.
