Margaritaville Beach House Key West

Overall the experience was ok. Nothing terrible, staff was nice enough, room was clean and decent, but everything was showing age and need of updating or repair. One elevator was out, everything looked like it could use a refresh or a coat of paint. Location was nice, just seemed like for the price could have been a little fresher feeling.

Very nice and friendly staff. It was a great place.

It is such a convenient location and beautiful place to stay. Beds are comfy! Wish they had a little more to offer on their menu though.

The smell from the seaweed was disgusting !!!

The staff was very receptive and friendly. I did not get the room I booked, I booked 2 bedroom room with 1 king and 2 queens and got a 3 queen room with no balcony. The one bedroom had no dressers or closet. The only closet for the whole group was in the shared bathroom that was approx. 18 inches wide. This was not ideal for multiple adults. We ended up having to put our clothes, etc all over the common area. The ice machine did not work even though they told us all about it at check in. I called the front desk and they did bring a few bags of ice about 20 mins later which was helpful. The beach was gross bc of things outside of the hotels control and locals said that was a very big concern this year. That cannot be blamed on the resort but should be made known. The pool is much, much smaller than pictured and kids kept jumping in and splashing us bc their parents were rude (at least that's my assumption since no one said please stop drenching the ladies). The shuttle service was great and on time every time. I've stayed at a couple other Margaritavilles and was disappointed bc this was not the experience I thought I was booking. I did bring this to the hotels attention but didn't get any resolution.

Everything was great but they were testing the fire alarms for hours each day.

Everything was fantastic! The staff, the food, the shuttle service to and from the airport, and the hourly shuttle to Old Town Key West….ALL superb!!

The Hotel is amazing. Clean rooms. Nice Staff (especially Anita). Food is very delicious and drinks are pretty great. Beach is gorgeous. Had to pay extra for the chair and umbrella though (would have thought it would be included for Hotel guests). Really loved the shuttle service from the airport and downtown. Super convenient. The drivers are a couple and both of them are super sweet and funny. Will be back for sure, because I enjoyed it so much!

Staff exceptional,great amenities

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The shuttle provided an excellent means for transportation to Duval Street as well as the ferry. The beaches in Key West are not the greatest so if your decision is based on proximity to the beach, it may not be worthwhile. The pool at the resort was awesome and the pool/bar/restaurant service really made this tropical destination pop!

My overall experience was good. I wasn’t overly impressed, but was content. I don’t have many complaints besides the food. We ate twice at the resort and had issues both times. We decided to eat elsewhere after that.

Pest control

This was the first time we've stayed at a Margaritaville but definitely won't be the last. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a great size. Having a shuttle to downtown was wonderful. Saved a ton of time and money not having to look for and pay for parking. The bus driver Johnny was great. Lots of recommendations for places to eat. The pool area was nice and the beach was right across the road. Absolutely nothing wrong the entire time we stayed there.

Had a great time there

Food and Drinks were excellent. Some things on the property were a bit run down. However, place was clean. Really nice pool and bar facilities. Beautiful beach.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Wilnar the airport shuttle driver even went out of his way take us to the Yankee Freedom dock at 6:00 AM which we greatly appreciated. Property and grounds were well kept and the food was excellent at the restaurant.

The room was fantastic, the staff excellent , the frozen drinks weak. We had lots of fun at the pool feeding the iguanas…would definitely recommend
