I dropped my son off as he has an early morning flight in Albany. He called me the next morning to tell me the room was dirty and he killed 5 roaches! I wish I read the reviews ahead of time
-
Had a bad odor in the room, wall in bathroom falling apart, hallway rug ripped and was a trip hazard
-
Roaches no hot water ceiling leak in hallway.. they should be ashamed of themselves.

It was conveniently located close to the airport which was welcome after flight delays and easy after midnight check in with a hot shower. The hall was musty and smokey, carpet stained and worn, west outside door lock was not locking so you didn't need a room key to access the property with a dead rodent two feet off the sidewalk doorway. Room 139 The toilet seat was not bolted down and would swivel you right off to the left, and multiple holes in the walls punched clear through the drywall. One of the bath towels were stained red and brown as if someone had mopped up kool-aid off a garage floor. There was red/brown bloody poop looking mystery substance smeared on the tissue box. I couldn't access the fitness center with my room key, but was ok, as looking in the windows it was a joke, near false advertising on Expedia. At 08:30 the breakfast counter consisted of 2 slices of dry bread, 4 wrinkly apples, 1 bagel, some cold cereal, but only 1 bowl and a pint of half and half to go with it. No kidding. On a bright note, the view out the window was some grass and trees with squirrels playing.

The overall experience was extremely disappointing. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the hallway was soaked with water due to a roof leak. Two malfunctioning light bulbs left the room particularly dark, making the conditions even more unpleasant. The staff were also unwelcoming and unprofessional, as they did not even acknowledge me when I greeted them with a good morning. To make matters worse, at 8:45 a.m., there was no coffee, bread, orange juice, or any other basic breakfast items available. In short, there was virtually nothing that could reasonably be considered breakfast. The poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, unresponsive staff, and inadequate breakfast service made for a very disappointing stay.

Where to begin…Flooded hallway from leaking pipes w water falling from ceiling. I had to walk thru to get to my room, woke to find my room deadbolt unlocked & the top lock stopped door from opening, vending machines would work then not work, swept my ceiling w cane to remove spiders & spider webs. The ladies in room 119 left & were on the phone for a refund. Later that night a lady was at the desk distraught that she reserved a room only to be told there were none available. She doesn’t know how lucky she was. I didn’t notice roaches but kept all lights on anyway. In the morning I went to use lotion in the bathroom & that’s where tiny roaches scattered. I opened my window curtains to find the right side had hard plastic as window & was pulled about an inch away exposing the outside. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had & was witnessed by my kids who dropped me off to catch a super early flight the next morning. This place is truly a dump. The airport shuttle was the only good thing. I AM OFFICIALLY REQUESTING A FULL REFUND.

I was very disappointed with property. There was a large puddle of water in the hallway. I looked into the bathroom when entering the room and saw a roach on the bathroom counter and baby roaches scurrying about.

Do not stay here!!! Awful!! Noisy in hallways all night. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. Sketchy guests. Did I say dirty? I walked to my room and the carpets were soaked through! No one told me so luggage got wet. Bugs in the bathroom. Shower was stained, rugs stained and there was 2 inches of dust on the headboards! Bed ruffles were shredded and stains all over the carpets. Not worth the money I spent!!!

Upon arrival to the property I was told I did not have a reservation despite a confirmation provided by Expedia.

I have stayed here before, and I went back because the last time it was decent, not five star by any means but safe and clean. This time was a whole different story. The room needed to be painted desperately, the bathroom had black mold, the paint was peeling off all of the walls, especially around the shower, the towels had holes in them, and the shower itself, barely worked and then would not turn off completely. When you stepped into the shower and put your hand on the wall it gave underneath you the whole thing was rotted out and was just being covered up with paint. It was gross to be honest when I went down to breakfast this morning there were a few pieces of white bread and a couple of saran wrapped bagels, old apples, and some cereal. That was literally it. When I went back to my room, checkout was at 11, I had people knock on my door, not once, but twice in the 10 o’clock hour interrupting a nap. On the hole it was a miserable experience and I will not be back. the only thing that I can say decent about it was that the sheets appeared to be clean. The bed was decent and the TV worked. Other than that— no. oh! I forgot to mention the bugs! There was a roach in the bathroom, and there was some other mysterious bug crawling on the wall in the hotel room itself. Both of which I killed obviously but… yuck.

I was disappointed to find several bugs in my bathroom. Some of the towels were fluffy and white but others were gray and thread bare. The breakfast area was large and there were several tables. Unfortunately the food options were limited to cereal, a few bagels, and packaged muffins. The other guests were loud and there were young people running up and down the hallway and at one point knocking on the door and wall. Another guest room was having and argument and I could hear them yelling at each other.

This is not a hotel its residential & extremely filthy. We did not stay, the lobby was so incredibly filthy we walked out.

This experience was horrible given that we had a much better and cleaner experience at a different Baymont. The first night we arrived we saw a small German cockroach in our room. We booked through Expedia so we immediately tried to get our money refunded, but this hotel in Albany would not approve it. We were moved to another room, and a couple days later we still saw another cockroach crawling behind the mirror. So it is definitely safe to say that this hotel has a roach infestation. We have a business so this is very serious for us because we travel to a lot of different people's homes to care for homes. We spent two days washing all of our clothes and luggage and disinfecting it to make sure that we didn't carry any cockroaches or eggs with us. The staff here is nice, but it does not make up for the cleanliness or lack thereof at all. We will never be back at this motel, and we have tried to get our money refunded via Expedia and Baymont Customer Care to no avail. The customer care center was not accommodating in this matter at all, and only offered to give us two free nights at another Baymont. But the Baymont franchise is a toss-up because you don't know what level of standards you will be getting per each hotel. We want at least a partial refund for such a horrible experience. I am also appalled that they have the nerve to serve breakfast and that they have a nerve to charge a deposit in the first place. This hotel needs a serious extermination.

Good deal for the price. Breakfast was very limited not the best. Just bagels and muffins.
-
The room was clean, but the hallway is the floors were all ripped up. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was a couple muffins thrown into a bin not even nothing to really drink. You could hear people through the walls, but the bed was very comfortable and for the price in a pinch it’ll work.
-
Close to the airport at a reasonable price
-
Breakfast was a joke. I have stayed in other Baymont hotels and this was clearly the worst breakfast. It seemed as if they were being stingy

I can’t imagine a worse experience. After trying to call the property for about 15 min straight, I had to argue with the front desk to get them to pick me up from the airport with their advertised free shuttle, which was just the guy’s car. At about midnight, I saw a creature scurry across the floor - either a mouse or giant cockroach. The front desk was not surprised when I called to report this, but they thankfully moved me to another room. The next morning I saw a cockroach in the shower of that room. The “fitness room” consisted of a single treadmill, but the lights wouldn’t turn on and the smoke detector was beeping needing batteries replaced. The “breakfast” consisted of frosted flakes, raisin bran, or fruity pebbles with a quarter gallon milk and stale bagels with warm cream cheese (that I didn’t dare eat). Truly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The hallways were a little dirty and smelt like cigarettes and weed. The faucet in the bathroom tub was dripping and looked gross like it hadn’t been cleaned. There was also a hand print on the outside wall coming into one of the side doors that looked suspicious. Also heard someone say that it was cockroach infested but I didn’t see any myself.
