South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center

My room was broken in by the connecting hotel suite which was vacant on the books. The hotel staff informed me that only the general manager and the head engineer has that master key.. I was only out of my room for 30 minutes before I come back up to try to open up the hotel room and could not due to the interior lock flap being shut. That can only be shut if somebody shuts it from the inside.. we called head Security and had Security and other staff members was in total shock. They’ve never seen this before, we called the general manager Jose and he was very defensive, noncompliant and unhelpful to his own hotel staff and including me. The general manager, Jose was avoiding me and would not return my phone calls or even help in the investigation.

Our stay was truly delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautifully designed, exceptionally clean resort overlooking the bay in League City, Texas. The peaceful waterfront atmosphere makes you forget you're anywhere near a major city. We enjoyed our balcony room overlooking the marina and pool. The pool area was spacious, inviting, and perfect for relaxing, even during the quieter season. Our dining experience was equally wonderful, with delicious food, attentive staff, and reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, conference dining service fell short. Due to food allergies, I requested assistance for each segment of the service and had to ask servers more than once. I was repeatedly being told someone would check, yet no one followed through. One representative eventually responded dismissively, stating that accommodations should have been addressed during registration; therefore there was no guarantee. I explained that I had not registered myself and was unaware of that process. This was disappointing given the otherwise exceptional hospitality. Regardless of registration procedures, guests deserve respectful communication and genuine assistance, especially concerning food allergies. I hope management addresses this with its conference staff. Despite this experience, we would gladly return. The beautiful property, relaxing atmosphere, and overall hospitality make it a wonderful destination with the potential for a truly five-star experience.

Every encounter I had with the staff was handled professionally and efficiently. They seemed to honestly try to meet or exceed my needs. At the breakfast buffet, Enrique was outstanding.

Great little resort. Clean rooms and common areas, nice views over the lake, nice balcony, comfortable bed and friendly staff! Make sure you get a room WITHOUT a connecting door. The sound really carries…🙀

This place is nice but old. Coffee pods in rooms are terrible. Rooms are old and outdated. Bathroom are very old and not high end nor modern. The walls are thin and not well insulated for noice - we could hear everything in the next room and hallway. Expected much more from this place.

i recommend this one - nice rooms with a view of the marina; the bartender was friendly and you get a coupon for a complimentary beverage as part of the resort fee...bathroom had a tub instead of just a shower, too

Outdated. Not sure why it's considered a resort or the resort charge is for. Staff is nice.

This is a beautiful property with various options for dining. The pool is outstanding and the staff is amazing.

The bar and pool was always the place to be. Also the off site gym facilities were amazing and just a short 5 min walk away

Rooms starting to show age. Ancient giant phones, air vents blew clumps of dust and dripped water onto carpet below, bathroon door was beat up and would not shut, shower ran after being turned off, visible opening between patio door and doorframe, super humid room, no microwave. Bedding was awful, but mattress itself was just fine. Pool is fabulous.
