Royal Palace Westwood

3 Stars, Average Stay, but Night Staff Needs Improvement Overall, my stay was okay and deserves 3 stars. However, the hotel seriously needs to improve its night staff service. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, and I had to wait quite a long time before someone finally showed up. No one was available to assist me or provide directions on where to park my car. My biggest concern is guest safety. If an emergency occurred during the night, I would seriously question whether anyone would be available to respond or assist guests. I hope hotel management takes this concern seriously and ensures that staff are available at the front desk, especially during nighttime hours. Guest service and safety should always be a priority.

Really nice hotel Good position, clean and the free parking is great. Breakfast wasn’t great but it’s okay For sure I will be back

Perfectly located in Westwood Village. Simple, no frills, clean, roomy. Very helpful, friendly staff. Would stay again.

Very convenient location, spacious and clean room, parking free onsite, I liked it overall

I am on third level and the shower is super super weak. Breakfast lacks any protein offer. Not even eggs. All the hotel offers is cheap carbs only.

Great value for the quality. It was clean and in a good location. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine for a continental breakfast, but I definitely would prefer a hot breakfast instead. No pool or gym etc. but that is ok. Only thing that was a bit frustrating was the very, very tight parking spaces. You either have to back in and squeeze out or I fortunately had a car that I could get out of and use the remote option to drive the car the rest of the way into spot. Otherwise I would have to climb out of the sunroof. Also, very few parking spaces. I understand space is limited and appreciate the free parking for sure. Just explaining it for others to be aware.

Very convenient to book Good value Good breakfast options Having car parking included is great

Stayed for 3 nights in a large suite on the 3rd floor with a balcony. This area is very safe with lots of eating and drinking venues within a short walk. Angel on the front desk was brilliant. Breakfast and parking included. Would recommend.

Great location… walking distance to restaurants and ucla

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and everything was exactly as expected. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I would happily stay here again!

Hotel near shopping center.

Perfect Westwood location! Very walkable area and super close to UCLA. The parking space is quite small, but it is manageable since we were able to fit our large SUV.

Free parking Breakfast can be improved in terms of variety

Great stay and would definitely return. Staff was friendly and the females running the front desk were nice and super helpful. Room was spacious and comfy. Location excellent. Parking was free but really tight. At times, double parking may be the only option available. Breakfast area was clean and had a good amount of options available. Looking forward to returning. Hopefully, we’ll have a smaller car by then!

The room was so small but you can open your suits on the floor. The hotel was calm and peaceful.

It was a clean hotel with friendly staff and food location

Great location

Good price ,very convenient to UCLA cleanliness and the inside is very nice The water pressure is very low

Good location to ucla and Westwood - free parking

Hotel was nice and close to UCLA. The breakfast had many options. Only “downside” was no AC in the lobby/hallways
